To be honest, if I tell you I don't think people will get expensive procedures anymore... Hello I am the director of Oganacell Dermatology Cheongdam Dermatologist Dr. Ogana. Today, I will tell you about value procedures really, the ultimate value.
I will talk about three excellent value procedures that I can recommend to just about anyone. This is a business secret. The first procedure is Botox. If you hear Botox,
you may say, oh right, Botox is a value procedure. But the Botox I'm talking about isn't the Botox we use for masseter Botox or for forehead wrinkles. I'm talking about "Skin Botox" or "Dermatoxin Botox" where we inject it compactly into the dermal layer.
The price varies by clinic but typically ranges from KRW 100,000 to 300,000, which can differ by amount or region. For dermatoxin, we inject botulinum toxin into the dermis Not only does it immediately smooth wrinkles,
It helps with pores and skin texture for more beautiful skin so it is suitable for anyone. With its immediate effects being a huge advantage, this is the first value treatment I chose. Because we inject the dermatoxin into the dermal layer, as long as they don't have tolerance,
anyone can get it without much difference. But it's not worth it if you already have good skin, so I recommend it for people with fine lines, large pores, and usually have lots of skin concerns. A procedure that works well with dermatoxin, personally, I think a skin booster.
or as we call a Water Glow Booster. If you receive these procedures together, they will have a synergistic effect. Dermatoxin has one disadvantage. What could it be? It's painful.
It's painful because it's injected. In addition, this is the skin's surface. It is densely injected right underneath into the dermis So it will hurt no matter how well you inject it. But for my case, I finish the procedure in 30 seconds to a minute
so it will be more bearable if it's done quickly, as least I think. The second value treatment are skin boosters. Many injections were developed from the past. You've heard of the water glow booster, right?
And also, Baby Skin Shots. You've probably heard of it. To simply explain, they have beneficial ingredients for anti-aging, anti-oxidizing, brightening,
nourishing, wrinkle prevention, and moisturizing. These substances are mixed and injected into the skin. For skin boosters, depending on the method, it can be less painful so it is a good skin care procedure that anyone can get that provides a great value.
Although skin boosters are injected, they are less painful because we use a device. We inject with a device instead of by hand and if we adjust the needles well, depending on the patient's skin thickness, it will be virtually painless.
Actually, for skin boosters, for young people in their 10s or early 20s, it feels like a waste of money. Young people with good skin don't need skin boosters. Instead, starting from your late 20s and up, you should start getting skin boosters.
Plus, this is suitable for men and women. And especially for those with a lot of oil production, sensitive skin, and a compromised skin barrier -most people with skin concerns have a compromised skin barrier- for those with a compromised skin barrier and intense dryness it's extremely helpful.
Especially for those with a weak skin barrier like atopic dermatitis or psoriasis patients, although this is a treatment for beauty purposes, this also serves as a treatment for these patients it is a procedure I'm fond of. In the past, to get results from treatment,
we used hyaluronic acid as a base for the injection and injected it into the dermal layer to draw in hydration and make skin glow with many types of injections. For injections of today, we use, hmm,
we use ingredients that the skin can use for longer like PCL or PLLA so the dermis can produce collagen. It stimulates collagen production and in the network of collagen fibers, there are various active ingredients
for anti-aging, anti-oxidizing, and brightening that are caught in the net. If they're in the net, they provide long-term effects. For atopy or psoriasis patients, This layer is unstable with a high inflammatory response. So this helps form an additional barrier in the dermis
to provide a treatment effect. For skin boosters, skin care treatments work well with them. Either an Ionzyme treatment or ultrasound treatments that help with regeneration can help increase absorption,
increasing the booster's efficacy. I thought a lot about the third value treatment. The treatment I chose is a procedure called InMode. This is already a well-known procedure. For lifting lasers,
you may have heard about Thermage, Ulthera, and Shurink. InMode is considerably safe and is a procedure that provides great value. InMode works by using radiofrequency to increase collagen levels in the dermis and improves double-chin or sagging skin
by reducing the fat layer, helping the face appear smaller. This procedure is well-used by people in their 10s and up to their 60s or 70s. Since Ulthera is an ultrasound procedure, it can melt much deeper fat layers. There are people with dense skin
that feels dense or thick when touched. This is effective for those people. InMode can be used by people with thin skin. It can also have a similar fat-melting effect if desired as we can adjust the settings. But the indications are different.
InMode can be used more diversely and Ulthera is for older patients and I tend to use it on certain ages with certain skin thickness. [Q: Is InMode harder to perform than Ulthera?] Well, if you are a dermatologist, or if you have experience, the difficulty level is actually quite similar. There's not much difference.
[Q: What are the costs and disadvantages of InMode?] The cost of InMode varies [Q: What are the costs and disadvantages of InMode?] which tends to be about KRW 200,000 to 400,000. The disadvantages are there are some people who find it painful. But about 80% of our patients said it was a relatively tolerable pain.
And there may be bruises right after the procedure. Due to this side effect, you should not receive it before an important event. A procedure that work well with InMode is a contouring injection. We call this a Face Line shot at our clinic
and it is often done with fat melting injections. For people with a large face, who are concerned about their double-chin, or who are concerned about their cheekbones, they can use non-invasive methods to shrink their face and revive elasticity step by step and
with simultaneous treatments of InMode and contouring injections. [Q: Do you perform liposuction?] Liposuction provides immediate results [Q: Do you perform liposuction?] and can remove a large amount of fat at once but the skin may sag as it cannot keep up with the volume loss, or there may be a scar at the insertion site. Also, there is risk of bleeding, infection, and other side effects
so I personally do not like it. Among these three, the one that works best the first time depends on each patient's concerns. If you're concerned about elasticity or the fat on your skin, then InMode will work best for you.
If you're worried about fine lines overall, you will benefit from skin botox or dermatoxin. If you're pain-averse but want your skin to improve bit by bit I recommend skin boosters. So rather than the best out of the three,
the choice will depend on each patient's needs and concerns. These procedures were chosen for this topic of "good value" I chose procedures where you can see immediate results and are in the more affordable price range. However, you must consider whether you truly need a certain procedure or not.
Just because it's affordable doesn't mean it's best for you. So next time I will recommend essential treatments with lasting results that suit your skin. Thank you.
