[Music] Hello and welcome to Nunop Plastic Surgery channel. I'm Dr. Enki Park. In this video, we will walk you through everything you need to know before hyperbaric oxygen

therapy. This treatment can help reduce swelling, speed up recovery, and support tissue healing, especially after plastic surgery. HBOT is a medical treatment in which patients breathe near 100% pure oxygen in a chamber with increased

pressure, usually between 2 to 3. By enhancing oxygen delivery to your tissue, HBBOT reduces facial and body swelling, stimulates your immune system, promotes faster wound healing, and helps regenerate tiny blood vessels such as

capillaries. At Nunopi Plastic Surgery, we recommend this therapy especially after surgeries like facelift, fat graft, and rhinoplasty for optimal recovery. Before starting the treatment, you must review safety checklist

carefully. If you have items like a mobile phone, hearing aid, or other electronic devices, metal accessories, electronic cigarettes, or disposable heat packs, a pacemaker or implanted defibrill. If you have any of these,

please let our staff know and remove them before the treatment. Next, let's check your health condition. Have you ever been diagnosed with claustrophobia, pneumosorax, aerolacttosis, glaucoma, or do you currently have diabetes, cold or

fever, pregnant or might be pregnant. These conditions may interfere with treatment safety. Please notify to medical team if any applies to you. Once inside the chamber, you may feel pressure in your ears like during

airplane takeoff. This is normal and can be relieved by yawning, swallowing or gently blowing with your nose pinched. This is called equalizing the ears. And it is very important for you

to do so during the treatment. As the session ends and the pressure decreases, you may hear a pop or click in your ear. Again, this is completely normal. Just remember, never hold your breath during

decompression. You may speak freely with our staff at any time during the session through the intercom. After treatment, some patients feel laded for a few minutes. That's totally normal, and you can resume

normal activity shortly after. Occasionally mild ear numbness may continue for 3 to seven days. This is a normal response and usually resolved on its own. Please avoid air travel or diving

for at least 24 hours after the session due to pressure sensitivity. At Nunop Plastic Surgery, we are here to support a safe, comfortable, and effective recovery for every patient. Thank you for watching.
