Hello, I’m Kim Jin-Oh, the director of NHI(New Hair Institute) I’ll answer an inquiry about hairline transplant. In case of hairline transplant surgery, would it be natural to adjust the hair density if i do not have much hair? I’m afraid it’s more unnatural to implant them densely.
I think this patient is worried that it might look unnatural because the hair density of the transplant area is too dense while the patient does not have much hair. However, you don’t have to worry too much about that. Because no matter how dense the transplanted hair is, it’s not easy to achieve natural hair density.
Also, most people who don’t have much hair have thin hair as well, so even if we increase the hair density of the transplant area, this part won’t look too dense. If you have thick and much hair, it may look a bit dense or less natural. However, most people who don’t have much hair have thin hair as well, so whether or not it would look natural is not an issue.
In fact, having not enough density in the transplant area would be more of a problem than achieving too much density. So I don’t think there are a lot of cases where we would try to achieve less hair density when doing hair transplant surgery. I think the secret to making it look natural is to use thin hairs when working on parts with naturally thin hairs
and to use thick hairs when working on parts with naturally high hair density while trying to maximize hair density overall. If you have any questions, please leave a comment on my blog and I’ll answer them through a blog or YouTube. Thank you for watching.
