Precautions For The Day After Surgery. Please do not touch the transplanted area. Please do not remove the bandage on the donor area. You may remove the rap on the transplanted area once you get home. Please do not wash your hair on the day of surgery. After removing the rap, spray EGF solution on transplanted area every 30 minutes. You don’t have to use when you sleep.

In case of bleeding on the transplanted or the stitched up area, apply pressure with a towel for about 10-15 minutes. If the bleeding still doesn’t stop please contact us. (Clinic Emergency Line 070-7722-2424) If you press too hard, the transplanted hair adjacent to the pressured area may fall out. With a towel, please press gently. How To Take Medication Post- Surgery.

Please do not skip taking medicines containing antibiotics, painkillers, swelling relievers, and stomachic. Please take painkillers, antibiotics, and stomachic from the evening of the surgery. Take the medicines both in the morning and the evening. In terms of swelling relievers, start taking them from the day after surgery. Please take them once a day in the morning in the order written on the medicine envelope.

How To Sleep After Surgery It is recommended that you sleep lying down so that the swelling doesn’t come down to your face. If you feel uncomfortable while sleeping, roll up a towel and place it under your neck. When sleeping, put a towel over the pillow as blood may leak from the donor area. Spray the provided ‘Transform Shampoo’ on the transplanted area and leave it for 3 to 5 mins. In the meantime, shampoo the other parts except the transplanted area with the recommended shampoo. Rub the donor area gently. Using the bubbles formed on the back part of your head, gently tap on the transplanted area. The “Transform Shampoo” and the recommended shampoo may mix.

After 5 minutes, rinse your hair gently using a cup or low pressure showers with clean water. Do not use a dryer or towel on the transplanted area and let it dry naturally. Apply ointment on donor area after washing your hair. Apply 1- 2 times a day for 5 days. Spray EGF solution every 30 minutes at least 5 times per day for 5 days after the surgery to prevent the transplanted area from drying.

Spray GD3.4 solution on transplanted area from the day after surgery. If you finish using the “Transform Shampoo” you may use the recommended shampoo entirely. Other Precautions. -Scab- If you force open the scab, it can leave a scar. The scab may come off on its own in 2-3 weeks. -Parting- When the transplanted hairs start falling out a week after surgery, the front part of your head may look empty.

It’s a natural process, and it will start recovering in 3 months post surgery. Falling Out In about 10 days after the surgery, the transplanted hairs will start to fall out with a scab. It’a natural process, so don’t worry. Exercising Do not exercise as much as you can for 5 days after the surgery. You can do light exercises after five days and regular exercises after 2 weeks.

Vitamins You can take Vitamin C,E, and multi-vitamins. Drink lots of water. Perm And Dyeing You may perm or dye your hair 2 months after surgery. Hair Styling Products You may use such products starting from the month after surgery, but please refrain from using it too much.

Clothing Since the transplanted hairs may fall out while putting on and off your clothes, it is recommended that you wear button up shirts for 3-4 days after surgery. Please wear hats that are fairly large in size. When taking off please do so from the back. You do not need to wear a hat unless the transplanted area is exposed to direct sunlight.

Swelling After the surgery, it helps to put an ice pack on your forehead for 4 times or more per day for 15 minutes. If you don’t ice pack well thinking that there is no swelling, from the 3rd-4th day severe swelling may occur. Folliculitis If folliculitis occurs, apply steam towel to the transplanted area for several minutes three times a day. You do not have to heat it too hot.

Direct Sunlight Do not expose the wound to direct sunlight for a month. It may cause pigmentation. Drinking & Smoking Drinking can cause bleeding, so do not do it while you’re on post-surgery medication. Smoking prevents wounds from healing. Please stop drinking and smoking for a month after surgery to get good results.

Loss of Scalp Sensation This is natural after surgery and it usually recovers after 6 to 8 weeks. However, it may last up to a year sometimes. Stitch Out Stitch out will take place 10-14 days after surgery. Scar On Donor Do not lower your head for 1-2 months to prevent the scar from getting bigger.
