But personally, I don't recommend it. Why? I thought it's a good solution because it has the big advantage of not leaving any scars. There are many people who refuse to use implants and some of them are right to do so.
But there are way more people who are wrong about it. I will try to explain the reason why I don't recommend the treatment through a comparison. Today's experiment: Using a konjac sponge to explain (self) fat grafting in breasts We have two konjac sponges. One is big and one is small.
It's slightly similar to breasts, isn't it? When doing fat grafting, the fat is inserted into the existing tissue. Which means, it depends on the original size how much fat can be inserted. The fat is inserted in the empty spaces inbetween. If you extract 100cc and insert it as one big lump to get better effects,
it can lead to horrible side effects, so it shouldn't be done. The first basic rule of fat grafting is that fat needs to be inserted in a very precise way. Using drops smaller than 0.1cc and evenly filling up the space is the most important thing in fat grafting.
There are women with big breasts or small breasts. I will start the fat grafting now. For the first time on youtube, I will show it to you. One day experiment. I've brought some fat.
Delicious. It's not real fat. This syringe is used during fat grafting. When we perform a real surgery the fat is gathered like this. I will insert 10cc of fat into the small breast.
When inserting the fat into every corner of the tissue of the small sponge, 10cc cannot be completely inserted. It already starts leaking. It's difficult for 10cc to be inserted. 8cc could be inserted. Now I will try with the big breast.
Fat grafting on big breasts I've inserted 10cc and there are no leaks yet. I've inserted 20cc and it's still dry. 30cc. It's not soaking wet.
Now that we've inserted 40cc, it's starting to drip a little bit. Let's try with 50cc. In this one (small breast) only 8cc could be inserted and when you press it starts leaking, but in this one (big breast) we inserted 70cc and there's no leaking. What could that mean?
If you chose to do fat grafting on small breasts, there won't be any big results because there is a limit to the amount of fat that can be inserted. Exactly. There has to be a certain amount of tissue before the surgery
to be able to see clear-cut effects. When you do fat transfer, you get liposuction and your breasts become bigger, so isn't it like killing two birds with one stone? Fat transfer is often believed to be the process of removing fat from an area with excess fat and therefore make it thinner,
while at the same time putting it in a different area of the body so that area becomes more voluptious. It's really difficult to achieve both things at the same time. If the person in question has thighs like you One leg? No, both legs.
How much could be extracted? You're not obese. Or are you? - No, I'm not. So if you asked me to do liposuction on your thighs, I would extract in total about 2,400-3,600cc.
That's the amount that has to be extracted to achieve the shape of those thin thighs that anyone would be satisfied with. But for the fat grafting in both breasts we would only need about 800cc. That's less than half of what you would extract
if you decided to do liposuction. The effect would be insignificant. There's another reason why I don't recommend fat grafting. This is a syringe, A 1mL one. It can hold 1cc.
It is used both during fat grafting on the face and on the breasts. If we insert 200-250cc in each breast that's 400-500cc in total. And, as I've mentioned, the syringe holds 1cc. Which means that 400-500 of these are needed. No matter how carefully the fat is inserted,
the recovery period will be quite long. When implants are used during the surgery, the patient can go back to their daily routine in only one day and do whatever they want. But if fat grafting is used, the recovery period will always be about 4-7 days.
Can you tidy up (sum up) for us? Not your hair. My face? Could you tell us three reasons why you don't recommend fat grafting for breasts? I don't recommend (self) fat grafting for breasts is because of value for money.
The main goal of most patients choosing breast surgery are bigger breasts. But when transfering the fat during fat grafting the breast size can only be increased by about one cup. I haven't seen anyone who decide on surgery I don't recommend fat grafting for breasts is because of the unpredictability.
When you do fat grafting, there is a factor called engraftment rate (fat survival rate). It is the decisive factor that determines how long the transferred fat will remain permanently. When the person likes drinking,
or smoking, or if their lifestyle expose their breasts to be pressed a lot or often a lot of external influences like this can lower the survival rate. We would both have a different fat survival rate. So the outcome is unpredictable.
Exactly. The third and last reason is change. Change? Do you know that your forehead looks hollow when you diet? I know what you mean. And when you gain weight, your forehead swells up.
So imagine we did fat grafting on the breasts the person goes on a diet and the fat just disappears. So you're saying that they shouldn't do fat grafting on the breasts? I'm not saying that no one should do it. I'm saying that only the type of person with a certain condition
who can have a satisfactory outsome should do it. You're skinny so you shouldn't do fat grafting. The first month, your breasts will get bigger but since the sponge itself is small the fat that couldn't engraft itself will disappear
and after a month you won't see much difference from now For a body type like yours I'd recommend breast implants rather than fat grafting. So if the person has a lot of fat in the breast area the fat grafting procedure
Yes, you're a good student. I always listen carefully. Fat isn't the only factor. If the person has a lot of muscles the fat grafting procedure can also have satisfactory results.
