Facelift leads to pixie ears Only when the surgery is done wrong When there's a pixie ear It is likely that the surgery was not done properly If you think about the reason there is a pixie ear You can know that facelifts do not necessarily lead to pixie ears [When facelifts lead to pixie ears] [First reason] I'll explain with the pictures This part is the SMAS during facelifts This is the side that lifts up the SMAS

So an experienced doctor doesn't really cut that much This part of the skin doesn't need to be cut Even if it is cut, it won't stretch that much And it could lead to a pixie ear So doctors who have done lots of facelifts Don't cut out this skin It is meaningless to cut out that skin If it is cut out, it could lead to a pixie ear

But the doctors who have done lots of surgeries Know of the risk of pixie ears, plus it doesn't make that much difference So this skin is not cut out that much [Second reason] Even if this part is not cut out much, there still could be a pixie ear When the SMAS is stretched, but not stretched much Considering the skin Then it rotates Making a sort of pixie ear
