All About Surgical Methods & Types of Breast Reduction Surgery!

But not all breast reduction surgeries are the same, right? So, please explain the different surgical methods and what conditions they are used for. I talked about this before in another YouTube video,

but breast reduction surgery involves an areola incision. Second is a vertical incision with a straight cut at the areola and the bottom of the breast. Third is an O-shaped incision because it looks like the Korean character “ㅗ”. This is a brief explanation of the different incision methods. It is correct to think that the appropriate surgical method is

determined to some extent according to the condition of the breast. Depending on the size of the breast, if the breast is very large or sagging quite a bit, we will often do an O-shaped incision. A vertical incision would work best if your breasts are just slightly sagging. An areola incision is performed

when the breasts are slightly drooping and only the areola and nipple positions need to be changed. We recently had a case that was a bit sad. A patient in her early twenties went to the hospital because of stress, and then went to a clinic with her parents.

But the doctors there said that she could only have an areola lift surgery, so that’s what they did. Her breast was very enlarged when she had the areola lift surgery, so it kept opening because of the center of gravity. So, they had to stitch six areas again. In the end, she had surgery with a vertical incision at our hospital, and she is satisfied now.

I think it’s time for her to remove the stitches, right? That's right, she’ll come in tomorrow. Ah... yeah. Anyway, there’s a part that can be improved much more than expected if the patient receives scar management for a very long time.
