Do you ever think, ‘I wish this part of my face or body had more volume’ or ‘I wish this part were a little slimmer’? That's why today we’ve prepared a session to learn about fat grafting and fat removal for the face, upper body, and lower body Today's session, the first in this series, is focused on the face I’ll explain how fat grafting and fat removal can help you achieve a more dimensional face

The forehead is a part where fat grafting is more commonly done than fat removal For younger individuals, a voluminous forehead is often considered attractive so fat grafting is often done to make the area look fuller For older individuals, there’s often a butterfly-shaped depression on the forehead so fat grafting is mainly done to fill that area Next is the temples and side cheeks

The temples and side cheeks are also common areas for fat grafting People with less facial fat, especially older individuals often have hollow temples or side cheeks And due to the features of Asian faces, people with prominent cheekbones may have hollow areas above and below the cheekbones This can create a gaunt appearance, so fat grafting is often done in these areas

Next is the tear trough and the front cheek area This area is more commonly treated with fat grafting than fat removal Most people have hollow areas below the tear troughs or in the front cheek Although some may want fat removal in the front cheek area to reduce prominent cheekbones fat grafting is generally more popular In fact, this area shows better results when fat grafting is combined

with lower eyelid fat repositioning to smooth out the tear troughs Next is the nasolabial fold I think the nasolabial fold is a tricky area The causes of nasolabial folds are diverse, but they can largely be categorized into two The first is bone structure changes as we age For example, the area near the sides of the nose tends to sink inward as we grow older

For people whose folds deepen due to this, fat grafting is a suitable solution The second cause is sagging tissue above the fold as we age For such cases, we remove fat from the tissue above the nasolabial fold But in these cases, combining fat removal with lifting procedures like thread lifting or Ultherapy shows better results Next is the cheek area

The cheek refers to the area near the sides of the mouth This area is more commonly treated with fat removal than fat grafting For younger individuals, when the volume in this area decreases the face appears slimmer, so fat removal is often done for facial contouring This area actually requires a proper diagnosis The fat in the cheek area can be divided into the deep buccal fat inside

and the subcutaneous fat outside Subcutaneous fat can be removed through liposuction, but for the deep buccal fat you’ll need a surgery where an incision is made inside the mouth to remove the fat Therefore, it’s important to consult and determine whether the fullness in your cheeks is caused by deep buccal fat or subcutaneous fat Finally, the double chin

A double chin refers to the area below the chin I would say liposuction works very well for this area In our clinic, we combine liposuction with muscle tightening This way, the bulging areas below the chin become sunken, and the results are excellent Sometimes, the back of the jawline can be a bit swollen For these cases, removing fat in that area is effective, but

these individuals often have overly developed salivary glands So for such cases, combining jawline liposuction with Botox for the salivary glands would provide even better results Today, we’ve learned about fat removal and fat grafting for the face to help make your face slimmer and more dimensional We’ll continue to share information about fat removal and fat grafting for different body areas

so always look forward to it If you have any questions, leave them in the comments, and I’ll be happy to respond This has been ‘We are the beauties’, Dr. Kwon of ‘Woori Beauty TV’ Thank you Imagine your customized... [LOL] This pronunciation is hard
