Welcome to The Oaks Dental Clinic, where you can completely transform your smile in as little as one visit. We have been helping patients achieve happier and healthier smiles for almost 15 years.

Dental veneers are also known as porcelain veneers, and they can completely transform your look. They can change the size, shape, and color of your teeth. There are two kinds of veneers: non-prep veneers, where no tooth enamel is removed, and prep veneers, where the tooth enamel is removed. The following are some of the main steps of getting veneers at The Oaks Dental Clinic.

Panoramic X-ray.

Taking before photos.

Consultation with the doctor.

Dr. Chulmin Bear and The Oaks Dental Clinic have their own in-house lab and can create veneers in just one visit. Measurements will be taken, and your mouth will be scanned into a 3D imaging system.

The patient decides on six veneers.

Local anesthesia.

Teeth are scanned by the lab technician.

Selecting the color of your veneers with a shade chart.

Impressions of the teeth are made.

Preparing the tooth.

The doctor uses a dental microscope.

Teeth are scanned, and after the teeth are trimmed down, the lab technician designs the veneers.

The milling unit cuts and shapes each veneer from a block of porcelain.

The lab technician removes the completed veneer from the milling unit.

The lab technician checks the fit of the final veneers on the patient's teeth before bonding. Dr. Bear applies a layer of bonding agent.

Veneers are permanently bonded by the doctor.

Non-prep veneers can be used in some cases, like when patients have undersized teeth with gaps between the teeth. However, in most cases, prep veneers are needed. The end result is that the veneers feel like your natural teeth and look beautiful, giving you a healthier and more confident smile.

In some cases, where the patient has more time, temporary veneers will be made so you can see how the final veneers will look. You can then take your time to see if you are satisfied with the look of your veneers before the final veneers are made and bonded.

After bonding, final adjustments are made to the veneers.

After photos are taken.
