What do you normally do when the season's over? We sign contracts. Of course, signing contracts would be the most essential step to take. After signing, we shoot commercials or sponsorship advertisements, and stream personal broadcasts. And then we get a break that doesn’t come around that often. Is there anything else you guys do during your break?

I haven’t played League in a while, so I’d try to play even on my break. Is it to maintain yourself in the game? Spending lots of time practicing is important because I noticed myself getting really bad at the game if I unwind too much. When did you realize that you had exceptional talent in the game?

There’s a rank system that ranks you up according to your gameplay, and I was always many ranks higher than my friends, so that’s when I realized I was special. Is there about 20 ranks? There's about 7 to 8 major rank divisions A total of 9 different rank divisions that indicate your gaming skills Have you played League before? Not once

You haven’t. Great decision. That’s something a master expert would say. “Have you tried this? Good thing you haven’t” Haha There are lots of people who stress over the game. That’s why I said it’s a good choice not to play.

Even regular people can’t just enjoy it wholly. Disputes are inevitable since it’s a team game. Among teammates. We can laugh about it now, but pro-players undergo a great deal of stress trying to give their all each and every match Embracing and encouraging one another must be very important in team play. Who plays that role? Everyone does.

You guys don’t have a team leader, right? I’m the leader. Ah.. Haha (Total cringe moment) So they assigned you as a team leader? (Blabbering out of embarrassment) Yup that’s right. I’m trying hard to be a good one. Even people who are not very familiar with the game cheer for local teams during international tournament seasons, and actually watch the games too.

What’s the biggest charm League of Legends has for you? Firstly, every game is highly variable. Countless unpredictable aspects of the game make it feel like you’re playing a new game each time. Always on a clean slate? Yes. That makes it all the more fun and games. I think that’s one of League’s greatest perks.

When I first started playing League, I just played mindlessly. Now that I’m a pro-player, I have to play head games. Unforeseen movements that could change every 0.1 seconds make it similar to playing chess or go. Each and every one of the elements of the game that are prone to change makes it really exciting and fun for me. How old were you when you first became a pro-player?

I was called up to the first team last year, when I was 17. How did your friends feel about that? Instead of ‘You became a pro-player’ they were more amazed that I made it on the first team in T1. (Esports Team) They were like, “Woo Je, you? For T1??” Haha School friends They must’ve made a big fuss about it.

And for Faker it could be ancient history, but how old were you when you first became a pro-player? I was 17 too. I think my friends found it astonishing. Nearly all pro-players debut when they’re in high school. Mostly yeah. You got to join your team after dropping out of school, do you ever miss the school life that you sort of lost in the eternal past? For me whenever I’m on the treadmill alone contemplating,

I reminisce the good old times goofing around in school with friends but most of the time I’m just busy playing games so I don’t really get to think about it that much. Regardless, you’re happy now right? I’m on my journey to achieving my dreams, so yeah I’m very happy. That’s so fire. (Applauding) Do you have moments of regret as well?

When I lose tournaments. That’s when I get really bummed out. What about Zeus? After I was called up on the first team last year, I had my debut as a substitute. When I was benched again afterwards, I was so bothered by the fact that I wasn’t able to show my 100%. Because I was afraid. In baseball there are pinch-hitters, they’re way more than just fill-ins. They go to bat at critical moments of the game.

They’re jumping into the game in place of another. If they don’t show up and show out, they basically lose any more chances to show what they’ve got. In reality, benchwarmers go through tenser time dreading for their chances to shine. Since they’re so nervous, they could get worn out and end up not being able to give it their best shots, which would be huge letdowns.

Please say a word for viewers who aspire to be pro-players like you guys. Tiers, I’d like to advise them to have a look at their tiers before deciding. Growth potential and rate, talent, skills.. Great. What about you Zeus? In my case, I didn’t really think much before making huge decisions like dropping out of school. I can be really spontaneous and just follow my heart. Oh every inch a man. Haha

Their tier would definitely be an important element to look at, and their will to play is very important as well. So you’ve said, but I cannot dare presume how much effort, time, and consideration you both would have put in, and it would be very hard to unravel all those hardships you’ve overcome within this given time frame. I’m sure most pro-players spend an extensive amount of time practicing, and I did the same.

Let me tell you guys something funny. When Yo Hwan first came to see me, he said “Doc, it feels like a waste of time having to shave.” Oh.. when he first met you? I’d never said anything, but he had heard through the grapevine about laser hair removal. So he asked me about it.

His words were good enough to show me an example of how fierce and intense pro-players' lives are, and that’s why I put strong emphasis on laser hair removal for the both of you.. To look better on screen? To get brighter, clearer skin? None of those were his concerns. That’s really cool. But that’s a rare case, at least in the Esports scene Oh is it? Haha That’s why he’s able to be long-running even till now.

Yeah that’s definitely what makes him a legend. Is there anything you guys would like me to do for you, treatment wise? For me I don’t have much experience with dermatologists so I’m just like “Yes please.” , “Yeah okay that too, please”. You even removed some of my moles, you get me all these different treatments done that I didn’t even ask for

At many times it hurts, but you know, beauty is pain. I’m just really grateful for everything. Thank you for thinking that way. How do you feel after all the skincare procedures?
