Regarding the reveal, it says Juvederm under Skinvive, and as many of you know, Juvederm is a type of filler. To be honest about Skinvive, it's autumn now.
I feel like my skin is getting so dry. Is there anything I can do to fix this dryness? First of all, the first step to prevent dryness is external moisturizing. But that alone inevitably has its limits. No matter how much you
moisturize externally, you can't stop that tight feeling from deep inside. For people like this, a procedure that targets the deeper layers is necessary. That would be a procedure done at a clinic called a skin booster. Skin
boosters are a general term for procedures that inject substances into the skin to hydrate, improve elasticity , or boost collagen. I'd like to introduce a new skin booster that just came out as today's main topic. Could
you show us? The color is just The case is pretty, too, and the color is so beautiful. Hmm. There are various skin booster procedures that have been popular for a
long time. The very popular Rejuran uses PN ingredients to help with skin regeneration and hydration. Juvelook uses PDLA to fill in collagen. And besides those, there are PDRN salmon injections, Chanel injections,
Filorga, and many others. There’s Exosome and several others, but the skin booster we’re talking about today is a product called Skinvive. It is a type of "mul-gwang"(glass skin) injection that has been used for a long
time. So why did we bring Skinvive today? Regarding the reveal, we wanted to talk about it because Skinvive has differences that set it apart from existing glass skin injections. With existing glass skin injections,
satisfaction after the procedure was really high. But the problem was, it didn't last long. How long does it usually last? It varies from person to person, but while we explain it lasts two to three weeks, or maybe four, the
effect is really short-lived. The reason is that the main component of these glass skin injections is hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid, a component of the skin, plays a role in locking in moisture within the skin.
But when you inject this hyaluronic acid directly into the skin, it all gets broken down. So, to maintain it for a long time, there might be several methods, but we call it bonding—tying the hyaluronic acid molecules together.
You can think of Skinvive as a product that has undergone that specific process. So, in the end, Skinvive has turned the short duration, which was a drawback of existing hydro-injections, into a long
duration. Then how long does it last? I explain to patients that Skinvive usually lasts up to 6 months with a single treatment. So you can sufficiently replenish moisture for 6 months with just one session. Another
advantage compared to hydro-injections is that it doesn't create bumps. Since you don't get those raised bumps afterwards, the downtime is really short, as long as you don't get any specific bruising. This is another
advantage of Skinvive. Also, the biggest concern for many people regarding skin boosters is pain, have you tried it? We always talk about it ourselves. But this one doesn't hurt. The reason why skin boosters are
painful is because...They create bumps. Creating bumps is like pinching our skin. Then why is Rejuran more painful? It's because they have bumps plus the pH doesn't match our body's skin acidity. It's a burning sensation plus
pinching. But Skinvive is injected a little deeper than the layer that creates bumps, right under the dermis, so it doesn't create bumps and there's no pinching, so it doesn't hurt. And it contains an anesthetic called lidocaine
. Since it is an injection procedure, there is some pain, but if you apply enough numbing cream, everyone usually says, "Oh, it's better than I thought," so you can think of it as a well-tolerated procedure. Yes.
We often use the expression that we have "inner dryness." Your face feeling tight is because the oil-moisture balance isn't properly maintained. If you get this, you know how you never feel dry when you're at a bathhouse? It
allows you to feel that bathhouse sensation for 6 months. A bathhouse booster. A bathhouse booster. I mean, the humidity in a bathhouse is 100%. It's impossible to be dry. Like that, if you
get Skinvive, it fills your skin with moisture so you don't feel any dryness. But you shouldn't inject too much, so 1cc for the butterfly zone, and if your face is really large, 1.5 cc per side is appropriate.
So when doing the whole face, most people do 2cc, meaning 1cc and 1cc, that's what's most common. If you want to add more moisture...We can use a cannula, which has a blunt tip, instead of a needle to spread it more evenly
and widely, and then we can definitely use a larger volume. Doctor. Yes. It says Juvederm under Skinvive. As many of you know, Juvederm is a type of filler. It is a filler from a
company called Allergan. To be honest, Skinvive is essentially a renewal of a previous product called Juvederm Volite —though I should really call it " repackaging." They just changed the name and the packaging. Since people
eventually developed a strong aversion to fillers, Juvederm Volite—which used to be very popular—started to see a decline in demand. Then the "skin booster" craze hit, and products like Juvelook became incredibly successful.
So, companies started changing their product names. They relaunch them with slightly different names through this " renewal" or "repackaging" process, and this product became a huge hit after the name change. In a way, that means
Skinvive is actually a filler. Even though people say they don't want fillers, many receive Skinvive without a second thought, thinking it's great, but as we always say, fillers aren't inherently bad. If used correctly,
fillers can be an excellent treatment. You know what Chairman Jang said the other day? What was it? "God gave humans aging, but He also gave us the gift of fillers ."
That's right. He did say that. So, what are fillers? As the director said, they are a means to maintain one's beauty. So, if a skilled doctor performs the procedure on the right area, fillers can truly produce wonderful results.
However, since it is a filler, there are obviously potential side effects. The biggest issue is accidental injection into a blood vessel. While there can be various problems if it enters a vessel, Skinvive is
FDA-approved and very safe, so you can assume it will fully absorb and disappear over time; because its molecular bonds are looser than other fillers, it absorbs much more easily. Mm. And its main purpose is to provide
hydration from within the skin; it is not meant to plump up your face with volume at all. One of the most important things when getting Skinvive is understanding that skin thickness varies across different
areas of the face. You need to understand those thicknesses to inject Skinvive into the exact right layer. Secondly, for a safe procedure, you need to have anatomical knowledge of where the important blood vessels are
located in the face. That is why I believe it is safer to get the treatment from a highly experienced professional. I think that is how you can achieve the best possible results. If you have any questions, feel free to
