Hello, this is Cha Plastic Surgery, chosen for me.
Today, I would like to talk about why Dr. Min Sung-gi personally and carefully oversees patients’ treatment and recovery.

At Cha Min, Dr. Min Sung-gi personally handles not only preoperative consultations,
but also the postoperative treatment process and follow-up care.
I will explain why that is and why it matters,
as well as what makes it meaningful.

First, at Cha Plastic Surgery,
we recommend that patients come to the hospital regularly after surgery on day 2, day 4, day 7, two weeks, and one month.
Although it may be a bit inconvenient for patients,
on day 2 we remove the nasal packing inside the nose,
and on day 4 we make sure there is no blood pooling at the surgical site.
From day 7 to the two-week visit, including suture removal,
the doctor provides careful treatment.

In many other hospitals,
patients often do not get to see the doctor’s face much after surgery.
At other hospitals, some people may ask why the director needs to personally check everything,
or say that seeing the patient only at the one-week visit should be enough.
But because only the surgeon can accurately know whether there is a problem with a postoperative patient,
Dr. Min Sung-gi, as a doctor,
personally sees and manages each patient’s treatment and recovery.
Only the surgeon can know the patient’s condition accurately.

For example, when removing the nasal packing on day 2,
if there is excessive bleeding,
some people who do not know much may say casually,
“Bleeding is normal,” or “You can go home.”
But because I have seen cases where excessive bleeding was missed,
and the bleeding continued throughout the day,
leading patients to be taken to the emergency room,
a doctor’s examination is absolutely necessary.

There is not a single part of nose surgery that can be overlooked lightly.
Because it involves implants brought in from outside,
and because the surgery time is long and inflammation can occur,
there are many cases where the face becomes damaged,
so not a single point can be missed.

To avoid missing even a single point,
the doctor must personally and carefully examine the patient.
Only by checking even whether the sutures have come apart
can we minimize scarring and achieve good results.

At Cha Plastic Surgery, we care for every stage of the patient’s process
and take responsibility for our patients until the very end.
I am not just a doctor who performs nose surgery,
but a doctor who performs revision nose surgery.

Not only now, but for the rest of my life as a doctor,
I will always want to closely monitor every part of my patients’ recovery and treatment in person,
and I will continue to make every effort to provide immediate care right beside my patients.
