What is Lineage?

Lineage is a lifting device that improves elasticity by delivering high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to the deep layers of the skin, especially the SMAS layer. The SMAS layer is a structure that is a major cause of skin sagging, and by stimulating it, lifting effects can be induced without making an incision in the skin! In this process, it also acts on the dermis and subcutaneous fat layer at the same time, helping to strengthen the overall skin structure.

It is especially suitable for areas that tend to lose elasticity, such as the double chin, cheeks, and jawline, and can be customized for various areas. And one more thing! It has the advantage of allowing various options to be adjusted. A wide range of option choices means it can respond in a customized way to different skin types and skin concerns, right? What is Lineage?

Two energy delivery modes

Depending on the energy delivery method, Lineage offers two modes: dot type and linear type. The dot type concentrates high energy on a single point and strongly stimulates deep tissue, making it suitable for areas that need strong lifting, such as the jawline or double chin. You can also expect excellent effects for improving deep wrinkles caused by sagging and restoring skin elasticity!

On the other hand, the linear type spreads energy broadly in a line, helping to lift and smooth the entire face evenly. Because it can be used without burden even on sensitive areas, it is suitable for wide areas or for people concerned about skin irritation. As such, combining the two modes appropriately allows customized lifting by area :) In addition, the linear type has the advantage of causing less pain during the procedure because the energy is dispersed in a linear pattern.

In addition to the energy delivery modes, cartridges of various depths can be selected depending on the treatment area and purpose, allowing for more precise lifting. When superficial elasticity needs improvement, the ACCU BASIC cartridge is used. It targets relatively shallow layers from 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm, stimulating the dermis and shallow subcutaneous fat layer, making it suitable for improving skin texture and strengthening elasticity in thin areas.

When you want to cover deeper layers, ACCU ESSENTIAL is used! With various options from 1.5 to 4.5 mm deep, it can deliver energy broadly from the dermis to the SMAS layer. It is mainly used for areas with thicker skin that need lifting, such as the cheeks and jawline. ACCU CORE and CONTOUR act on even deeper tissues, targeting the fascia layer or deep fat layer! They help improve areas with fat accumulation or sagging and refine facial contours.

You can expect sufficient lifting effects with Lineage alone, but when used together with Thermage FLX, a radiofrequency device, you can achieve elasticity, skin texture, and lifting effects at the same time. Thermage delivers radiofrequency energy deep into the skin to induce collagen regeneration, with elasticity improvements appearing gradually over time.

It is especially helpful for improving pores and refining skin texture, and because it works on different layers from Lineage, synergy can be expected.
