Blanche No-Prep Laminates
When the beginning is different, the result is different
Blanche No-Prep Laminates

This is the Blanche Dental Clinic interior project,
which will look even better in June.
In May, Blanche is busy preparing for its expansion and relocation. Haha
This interior project is already the third one.
Maybe that’s why?
Things I hadn’t noticed before
keep catching my eye.
Back then...
I chose wallpaper simply because it looked pretty,
and lighting because it seemed stylish.
Thinking about it now..
there are so many parts that were damaged too easily
or had to be repaired.
They were pretty, yes.
But they didn’t last long.
So my thoughts about this Blanche interior
have changed a little. Haha
Let’s avoid things that are only pretty.
Let’s look for something with good aesthetics that also lasts and is of high quality.
(Have I become too greedy? Haha)
So these days, after finishing a day of treatment, I’m also studying interior design...^^;

While thinking about that, I suddenly had this thought.
'Isn’t teeth, too, like the interior design of the face?'
Creating a beautiful smile is important...
but what matters more is how long it lasts.
What determines that
changes depending on how it all begins,
and I keep feeling that while doing Blanche No-Prep Laminates.
Today, then, I’d like to talk a little about the Blanche no-prep laminate method,
which is more than just saying "less shaving."
- For laminates to turn out well,
we first look at this condition
Blanche No-Prep Laminates

Whenever laminates come up, there is a question that never fails to appear.
"Doctor, is it possible even without shaving the teeth?"
It may be possible, or it may not.
At Blanche, we don’t decide that simply by looking at the teeth alone.
There is one point I always emphasize.
The gums need to be in a healthy state for any procedure afterward to be carried out stably.
Whether it’s no-prep laminates or minimal-prep laminates...
ultimately, the condition of the gums that serve as the foundation is the starting point.

I do not recommend placing laminates when the gums are swollen or there is a lot of tartar.
Even if the teeth are not shaved, the results won’t last long.
Even after receiving a no-prep laminate procedure,
the gums can swell again, the laminates have to be removed...
and in the end, some cases end up needing implants.
In clinical practice, we often see situations like this.
That is why, at Blanche, if scaling or gum treatment is needed, we begin with that first.
Then we move on to tooth design.
Of course, the design of the laminate is important.
But for that beauty to last without change...
the gums need to be healthy first.
Blanche looks at this part first.
- Blanche No-Prep Laminates
work for most cases for a reason
Blanche No-Prep Laminates

No-prep laminates.
Just hearing the name makes you interested.^^
The idea that you can look better without shaving the teeth...
how appealing is that?
At the same time, though, worry probably comes with it.
"Will it really be okay without shaving them?"
"If I push too hard and go too far,
won’t I end up having to do it again later..."
I understand very well what kind of concerns people have when looking into laminates.
In reviews and online communities, too,
I’ve seen many posts saying that no-prep laminates are difficult or have limitations.
At Blanche, no-prep laminates are
applied in most cases.
It’s not simply that we get lucky with many suitable cases.
It’s because we create the conditions that make it possible. Haha

At Blanche,
the natural flow of the gum line,
how much shows when smiling,
whether the structure is one where food can easily get trapped at the margins...
we examine these points carefully first.
Using research-based design standards developed by a Seoul National University graduate,
and 3D scanning data,
we predict the amount of reduction and
the material thickness in 0.01 mm units in advance.

And these analysis results are directly connected to Blanche Lab, our in-house dental lab.
Tailored to each person’s tooth structure...
we refine the margins so they align well with the gum line..
and adjust using the thinnest, most precise ceramics.
That is the core of Blanche No-Prep Laminates.

- Blanche, with detailed considerations,
looks more natural when you smile
Blanche No-Prep Laminates

Laminates are indeed a procedure for becoming more beautiful.
But the "beauty" Blanche thinks of is...
a smile that is not only good in photos, but also natural and confident in everyday life.
That is why Blanche No-Prep Laminates do not simply aim to align the teeth.
How much of the teeth show when smiling..
whether the line of the lips and the gum boundary feels natural..
the entire tooth-related area is designed.

The material also plays a very important role in this kind of design.
At Blanche, we use 100% Swiss feldspathic ceramic.
It may be an unfamiliar term...ㅎㅎ
But understanding why we use it may be helpful, so let me explain a bit more.
This material expresses light reflection, transparency, and even surface texture in a way that is similar to natural teeth.
Any material can look white and shiny at first.
But what really stands out over time is the "texture" and the "margin line."
Feldspathic does not simply reflect light...
it has the property of transmitting it naturally.
So even under sunlight or indoor lighting,
it creates harmony without looking awkward.^^
When seen in reviews and photos,
these differences may not be noticeable...
but while living every day talking, smiling, and being under sunlight and lighting...
don’t you need this kind of natural look, with details that feel alive, to always smile brightly?ㅎㅎ

Today, I focused on how Blanche laminates are started.
Blanche No-Prep Laminates are designed so that the teeth and gums stay healthy from the very beginning...
and that makes it possible to maintain a beautiful smile for a longer time.
I hope this article answered even a small part of the questions you may have had while reading today.
If you need anything else,
please feel free to ask anytime.
Thank you.ㅎㅎ
