Full-arch implant costs

When you use traditional dentures,
the discomfort you feel is greater than you might expect.
In some cases, the dentures move around in the mouth, causing pain every time you chew.
There are also people who often struggle with communication because their speech does not come out clearly.
And when the dentures are removed, the stress caused by the change in appearance can also be quite significant.
Because of these issues, some people consider full-mouth implants, but...
the much larger treatment plan than expected and
the cost can be a major concern.
The burden of having to undergo surgery multiple times.
And when you think about the large cost paid all at once...
"Maybe I should just keep living with dentures..."
I’ve met many people who feel completely discouraged like this.
In cases where the entire set of teeth needs to be restored,
I recommend full-arch implants.
So today, I’ll organize and explain full-arch implant costs, methods, and effects for you. Haha.

- Full-arch implant costs,
Is it really that expensive?
Full-arch implant costs
First, let me tell you the rough cost of full-arch implants, which is probably what you’re most curious about.
Usually, full-arch implants are performed separately for the upper jaw and lower jaw...
and the average price per jaw is around 8 million won.
If both the upper and lower jaws are replaced, the total exceeds 10 million won, so it’s hard to deny that it feels expensive compared to dentures.
In such cases, instead of replacing both the upper and lower dentures, I recommend starting with the lower denture, which tends to be more uncomfortable, and replacing it with a full-arch implant.
If you don’t feel discomfort, there’s no need to do the upper jaw with implants as well. Haha.
When you think only in terms of cost, you may still feel the burden you first had. ^^;
But there is a clear reason why I recommend full-arch implants over dentures or full-mouth implants.
If you understand how full-arch implants are done, it will make sense naturally.
I’ll explain in more detail below. Haha.

- Full-arch implants,
It’s not just about placing many implants.
Full-arch implant costs

Some of you may find the term full-arch implant unfamiliar. Haha.
The method we call a full-arch implant is one in which 4 to 6 implants are placed and a full prosthesis is connected on top of them.
It is much more stable than dentures
and there is no discomfort from pressure on the gums.
Compared with full-mouth implants, the cost,
operation time, and procedure are simpler.
This method is closer to building a new structure above the gums.
So the placement position, angle, and depth must all be planned
for the prosthesis to last longer and reduce discomfort.
That is why a full-arch implant is
not just a simple procedure...
it is closer to a treatment that
redesigns the overall oral structure.
The cost of full-arch implants is certainly higher than dentures...
but patients who undergo the procedure often report high satisfaction with chewing function, to the point where they can eat tough meat and kimchi as before without difficulty.
In addition, because a customized full set of teeth that matches the face can be made again, aesthetic satisfaction is also very high.
Then...
Are the cost and method of full-arch implants
applied the same way at every dental clinic?

- Even if the name is the same,
the results can be different.
Full-arch implant costs

Because this is a method that rebuilds the entire structure...
approaches differ from clinic to clinic, and those differences are reflected in both results and cost.
Some places make the inside of the prosthesis from a weak material like plastic...
or they may outsource the entire structure for fabrication, which can take a long time or make revisions difficult.
At Blanche, the oral condition is precisely scanned digitally...
we find the most suitable position and create a surgical guide
to reduce errors.

The prosthesis is also built by precisely connecting zirconia teeth to a titanium bar shaped to match the gums, increasing durability and stability.
In addition, we have our own in-house dental lab called Blanche Lab.
This allows fabrication and adjustments to be carried out quickly within the clinic. Haha.
As such, depending on what it is made of, how it is made, and whose hands make it...
even if it has the same name, 'full-arch implant,'
results and cost can only differ.
And these factors are also reflected in how long it can be worn comfortably and used like your own teeth.

Full-arch implant costs
Of course, this can be a concern.
It is a burden for anyone,
and clinics each say different things and have different standards.
That is why, before treatment, please be sure to visit the clinic and check what materials and methods will be used for the full-arch implant.
If the method is clear,
then the cost will follow as a result of that process.
The desire to use it for a longer time
The desire never to be in pain again
Treatment that understands all of those wishes
can be a good start, I believe.
Thank you for reading this long post today.^^
