Today’s Laminate (Luminate) Restoration Case!

There seem to be so many patients wanting laminates these days, perhaps because wedding season is in full swing!!

I treated an influencer who trusted our dental clinic and chose laminate treatment :)

As my regular readers may know by now.... Minish, Black Peel, Zeronate, and so on are all laminates with different names, so I’ll just call them laminates rather than Luminate!

Looking at the pre-treatment photos, her teeth were very straight and attractive because she had undergone orthodontic treatment. However, the surface texture and cavities between the teeth were areas that could be improved.

So.... I first created what I considered to be the ideal design.

I have always believed that it is more important to create laminates according to the patient’s desired direction than according to my own preferences as the dentist performing the procedure. So, using the design file I created, I discussed the design with the patient at length. Once the design was finalized....

Ta-da!!

We removed the cavities between the teeth, took impressions, and fabricated the laminates based on the design the patient and I carefully discussed and decided on together.

We also made the laminates in the color she wanted and placed them for her!
