Today, I’d like to introduce a case in which

three wisdom teeth were extracted at once.

The patient who visited us was a 21-year-old woman.

She said she was experiencing intermittent pain

and discomfort around her wisdom teeth,

so we checked them with a panoramic X-ray.

The image showed a total of three wisdom teeth:

one each in the upper and lower left jaw, and one in the lower right jaw.

In particular, the lower wisdom teeth were impacted

and positioned in a way that placed pressure

toward the front molars.

If left untreated in such cases, cavities may develop

in the adjacent teeth, or gum inflammation may recur.

Extracting several wisdom teeth at the same time

has the advantage of resolving the issue in a single visit,

but it also requires more thorough planning

Before the procedure, we carefully examined the position

of each wisdom tooth, the shape of its roots,

and its distance from the nerve in the mandibular canal

using a CT scan.

We then planned the extraction sequence and method accordingly.

The patient also said, “If they have to be removed anyway,
