Double Chin Removal (Double Chin Liposuction)

1.    Removal of Submental Fat

For relatively young people, or in cases where there is a lot of fat in the submental area and a double chin appears, a simple submental liposuction procedure (double chin liposuction) can be highly effective.

Double chin liposuction can be completed in about 10 minutes under local anesthesia or sedation.

The surgery cost is about 1 million won.

It is fine to think that normal daily life is possible immediately after surgery, and that there is not much swelling.

However, as people get older, if the muscles in the submental area loosen and lines like a rake form in the area connected to the neck, then the skin in the submental area must be incised and the stretched muscles tightly tied to achieve a satisfactory result

2.    Suturing the Chin and Muscles

As people get older, if the muscles in the submental area become loose and stretched, or weakened, the submental area must be incised and the separated muscles pulled together and fixed as shown below.
