First, the periareolar incision method is an incision made around the areola, and because the scar remains only around the areola, scarring is minimal. However, because there are limits to the correction range, it can only be selectively chosen when a reduction of about half a cup to one cup is desired.

For other cases, we use the vertical incision method, and compared with the inverted-T incision method, the scar length is about 20 to 30 cm shorter.

The part many people worry about is pain. To help reduce these concerns, at our clinic we proceed carefully so that damage to the breast nerves is minimized as much as possible, and before finishing, we inject a special anesthetic that lasts 8 to 12 hours around the nerves to reduce pain immediately after the procedure.

In addition, to reduce concerns about scarring, we have a variety of methods.

First, we suture using special sutures and inject Botox to help prevent scars. After that, to provide customized scar treatment depending on the timing and the condition of the scar, we operate a scar clinic, and if some scars become more noticeable depending on the timing and condition, we actively provide additional laser treatment, injection treatment, medication treatment, and treatment using silicone sheets.
