Hello,
This is Earlyf from the April 31 Petite Center.
Today, we’ll take a look at how to get the most out of a thread lift
and a self-diagnosis method.

One of the procedures that people in their 40s and older often get
is a thread lift.
Just because it’s a commonly performed procedure,
can you simply follow along and get one?
Of course not!
There are also types for which a thread lift is recommended
and types for which it is not recommended,
and with a simple self-diagnosis method,
you can check whether your face is likely to benefit
from a thread lift.
We’ll go over the details below.

What is a thread lift?
A thread lift is a lifting procedure that inserts dissolvable threads
into the skin to pull it upward.
After anesthesia, the procedure takes about 30 minutes.
It can improve sagging skin and deep wrinkles that become more noticeable with age.
A thread lift has the advantage of minimizing bruising and swelling,
and allowing you to return to daily life the very next day after the procedure.
How many threads are needed for a thread lift?

Since the design is customized to each person’s face,
the number of threads inserted will vary.
For people with overall significant skin sagging,
usually about 3 to 4 threads above the cheekbones,
2 to 3 threads vertically,
and 2 to 3 threads along the jawline are used,
for a total of about 10 to 20 threads.
Recommended type VS not recommended type
Since a thread lift is one type of lifting procedure,
it is effective for people with a lot of facial fat
or sagging facial fat.
On the other hand, cases in which it is difficult to see a major effect even after a thread lift
are the types not recommended for this procedure:
people with little facial fat
or people whose facial fat is not sagging.
And if there is too much facial fat and the layer of fat is thick,
there is a limit to how much can be lifted and maintained with a thread lift.
In such cases, we recommend combining it with procedures
such as Ulthera that reduce the amount of fat.
Self-diagnosis method for a thread lift

If you are unsure whether you have facial fat or sagging skin,
or if you want to know whether a thread lift could be effective for you,
you can check with a simple self-diagnosis method!
Look in the mirror and gently pull up the side cheekbone area.
If the marionette lines, nasolabial folds,
and jawline appear smoother,
you can expect satisfactory results from a thread lift.

A thread lift is a procedure where the doctor’s technique is extremely important.
If the doctor does not perform the procedure well,
it means nothing at all,
and it is simply threads placed in the face.
The only thing that can be gained just from having the threads inserted
is a slight increase in elasticity from the small amount of collagen fibers
that form around the threads,
so the doctor’s skill is very important.
