Hello, this is Inique Plastic Surgery.
Recently, double eyelid surgery has become so common
that people even refer to it as a procedure,
and many people undergo double eyelid surgery for various reasons,
such as eye shape, size, or ptosis.
However, even though it is a widely performed surgery,
side effects can still occur, so it is important to research carefully
before having the procedure.
Today, we will introduce Inique Plastic Surgery’s own surgical methods
that make this popular double eyelid surgery more precise,
beautiful, and natural!

First, at Inique, a double eyelid surgery clinic in Apgujeong,
we provide patients with natural-looking double eyelids
through three surgical methods.
The first is the Smooth Incision Method.
This surgical method fixes the depth so that it is not too deep,
creating a smooth line.
The second is the High-Density Buried Suture Method.
This method creates a natural adhesion by fixing 10 points
that do not come undone.
The third is the Fat-Removal Buried Suture Method.
This method removes fat through an incision smaller than 4 mm
and does not leave a scar.
Let’s continue and take a closer look.

First, the Smooth Incision Method.
As briefly explained earlier, this is one of Inique’s representative surgical methods,
creating a smooth line without a pinched look or deep scars
by adjusting the depth of the double eyelid.
Unlike conventional surgery,
the inner corner of the eye is fixed in three layers so it does not come undone,
and the middle and outer areas are fixed so that they are not too deep,
allowing them to fold naturally.
In addition, the fixation depth is adjusted by area
to create a line that does not come undone and is not too deep,
and with 7 to 9 fixation points,
the spacing between points is narrow,
creating a smooth line.

Next is the High-Density Buried Suture Method.
The High-Density Buried Suture Method can be described as a surgical method that creates adhesion points.
Compared with incision methods,
it may be relatively more likely to loosen,
but at our Apgujeong double eyelid surgery clinic, Inique,
we perform the surgery in a way that can also reduce that possibility.
The reason is that we use a high-density buried suture method
that forms 10 points in a line so the adhesion points can remain in place for a long time
without coming undone.
Unlike conventional buried suture surgeries,
which are performed with only 4 to 5 points,
we create 10 adhesion points and narrow the spacing between them,
which helps make the line smoother.
In addition, only the outermost knot area is micro-incised by 2 mm,
which is the biggest advantage because it leaves no scar.

Fat-Removal Buried Suture Method
The Fat-Removal Buried Suture Method, together with the High-Density Buried Suture Method above,
is a surgical method that removes fat above the eye,
and it helps make eyes that may look heavy due to excess fat appear clearer
through appropriate fat removal.
In addition, because a 4 mm micro-incision technique is applied for fat removal,
its biggest advantage is that the surgery can be performed with almost no scarring.
Some people think that a partial incision means less scarring,
but if a partial incision is made too long,
it can leave scars that are worse than Inique’s incision method.
Therefore, if you are considering a partial incision,
please be sure to visit Inique for a consultation
before making your decision.
