Hello. This is Inique Plastic Surgery.
Test takers, did you do well on the CSAT~?
The CSAT is over, and the day you become an adult
is not far away now.
Today, through a special discount for test takers,
we would like to explain the differences between
the double eyelid incision method and the buried suture method
for students who are considering eye surgery.
For natural and beautiful eyes,
you need to have surgery with a design and method
that suit you.
Let’s take a closer look.

The eyelid has a skin grain according to the eye.
A double eyelid without surgery is a crease that naturally folds
along this skin grain.
Therefore, when designing a double eyelid, you must design it
following this skin grain,
that is, the Natural skin crease, so that no traces remain.
That is why at Inique, we perform
Smooth Incision and High-Density Buried Suture surgery
following this skin grain.
Let’s look at each one.

First is the Smooth Incision method.
This surgery adjusts the depth of the double eyelid
and creates a smooth line without a pinched look
or deep scarring.
It is Inique’s signature eye surgery
and is somewhat different from the typical double eyelid incision method.
In general surgery, from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eye,
the fixation is done with the same strength, with 4 to 5 fixation points,
and the distance between each point is wide.
The Smooth Incision method fixes the inner corner of the eye in a triple layer
so it does not loosen, using 7 to 9 fixation points,
and the distance between each point is narrow, making it smooth.
Unlike a general incision method, where the fixation at the inner corner of the eye
may loosen over time, we recommend the Smooth Incision method,
which adjusts the fixation depth by area to create a line that does not loosen
and is not too deep.

Next, let us explain the High-Density Buried Suture method.
An incision method creates an adhesion line,
whereas the buried suture method creates adhesion points,
so compared to an incision method, it is more likely to loosen.
That is why at Inique, we use a High-Density Buried Suture method
that creates the line with 10 points so the adhesion points do not loosen
and can be maintained for a long time.
A typical buried suture method is performed through 4 to 5 points
and 4 to 5 incision openings, which may later cause scarring.
However, Inique’s unique High-Density Buried Suture method uses a total of 10 points.
The fixation points only make pinhole-sized openings,
and only the outermost knot area is finely incised by about 2 mm,
which is the advantage of leaving no scar.

Inique also has a surgical method called the fat-removal buried suture method.
This is a method of removing fat above the eyes through a 4 mm minimal incision
at the same time as the High-Density Buried Suture method.
If there is a lot of fat above the eyes, the upper eyelid area can look puffy
and appear heavy.
That is why fat is removed through a fine incision.
If the incision is made too long in a partial incision,
scarring can actually remain.
But Inique’s fat-removal buried suture method limits the incision length
to within 4 mm, so scars are barely left behind.

So far, we have explained Inique’s own double eyelid incision method
and buried suture method.
Through a consultation with Inique’s board-certified doctors,
who are trusted with more than 5,000 surgeries performed,
please have surgery with a design that suits you
and boost your confidence with a more beautiful look than before.
