The first method is the Smooth Incision Method, which controls the depth to create a smooth line. The second is the High-Density Buried Suture Method, a 10-point natural adhesion technique that does not come undone. The third is the fat-removal buried suture method, which leaves no scar with a 4 mm incision length.

Shall we learn a little more about each surgical method?

First, the Smooth Incision Method is Ainique’s representative eye surgery method, which adjusts the depth of the double eyelid to create a smooth line without a pinched feeling or a deep scar.

The inner corner of the eye is fixed in three layers so it does not come undone, and the middle and outer parts are fixed without being too deep so that they fold naturally. Because the fixation depth is adjusted differently by area, a non-opening line with just the right depth is completed.

Unlike general surgery, the fixation points are increased to 7 to 9 points, which means the spacing between points is narrow and the line is smooth.

*Three-layer fixation is a method of securing the starting area where double eyelids are most likely to come undone by tying it simultaneously to the tarsal plate and the end of the levator aponeurosis.

The next double eyelid surgery method is the High-Density Buried Suture Method. As you may know, unlike incision methods, buried suture methods create adhesion points, so they can come undone more easily. However, at Ainique, to reduce that possibility even further, we use the High-Density Buried Suture Method, which creates the line with 10 points.

Compared with a standard buried suture method, the number of points is increased by about two, so the spacing between adhesion points is narrower, which helps create a smoother line. Also, even though it is a buried suture method, it is performed with a micro-incision. The reason is to prevent scars. At Ainique, the fixation points are made with only needle holes, and only the outermost knot area is micro-incised by 2 mm so that no scar is left, allowing for faster recovery as well.

Lastly, let me introduce the fat-removal buried suture method.

This surgery is performed together with the High-Density Buried Suture Method. If there is a lot of fat above the eyes, the eyes can look puffy and feel heavy. In such cases, removing the fat above the eyes through a minimal 4 mm incision can create a clearer double eyelid line with an appropriate amount of fat removal.

Even a micro-incision can leave a worse scar than a standard incision method if it is too long. That is why Ainique limits the micro-incision length to within 4 mm and proceeds in a way that leaves almost no scar, making it a surgical method we can confidently recommend to those currently considering surgery.
