If You’re Worried About Thick Eyelids, Try Fat-Removal Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery!

First, let’s look at iNick’s representative double eyelid surgery,

the Smooth Incisional Method.

This procedure adjusts the depth of the double eyelid

to create a smooth line without a pinched feeling or a deep scar.

Unlike standard surgical methods, it uses a triple-fixation method that does not come undone.

Triple fixation means securing the front starting point where

double eyelids are most likely to loosen by tying it simultaneously to the tarsal plate and

the end of the levator aponeurosis, creating the line with triple fixation,

which lowers the possibility of the double eyelid at the inner corner coming undone.

Next is the high-density buried suture method.

As everyone knows, the buried suture method creates adhesion points,

so compared with the incisional method, which creates an adhesion line,

it is structurally more likely to come undone.

However, since this is still surgery, having to redo a loosened double eyelid over and over is not easy.

That is why iNick uses a high-density buried suture method that creates the line with 10 points

so that the adhesion points do not loosen and can be maintained for a long time.

Also, the buried suture method requires a minimal incision.

For the fixation points, only needle-entry holes are made, and only the outermost knot area is micro-incised by 2 mm,

so the scar is minimized as well, and you can feel at ease.

Lastly, there is the fat-removal buried suture method.

This is a procedure recommended for people with a lot of upper-eyelid fat,

and it is performed at the same time as the high-density buried suture method.

If there is a lot of fat in the upper eyelid, the upper part of the eye can appear puffy,

creating a heavy-looking impression.

So during the buried suture procedure, a micro-incision is made to remove the fat,

creating cleaner and more defined eyes.

Even with a micro-incision, if it is made too long, it can leave scars that are even worse than those from an incisional method,

so iNick limits it to within 4 mm when performing the surgery,

leaving almost no scar.

Our eyelids have skin texture that follows the movement of the eyes.

A non-surgical double eyelid is a crease that naturally folds along this skin texture.

Therefore, when designing double eyelids, the design must follow this skin texture

so that no trace is left behind.
