extra saline, artificial tears,

cotton swabs, and gauze.

The gauze and cotton swabs we provide

can be used if scabs form on the surgical area,

or if dried eye discharge or conjunctival secretions

make it difficult to open your eyes.

For the first 48 hours after surgery,

during recovery, there may be some bleeding

from the surgical area.

If blood that had pooled at the surgical site comes out,

or if there is minor bleeding,

applying gentle pressure and then

using a cold compress can be very helpful in stopping the bleeding.
