Hello, this is Inique.
As time goes by,
the face that once had good elasticity can develop
sunken cheeks or
nasolabial folds, and
the under-eye area can also start to feel hollow,
making the overall impression of the face
look dull and dark.

In these cases, people may feel concerned
because it can give a tired
and older-looking impression.
For those who are dealing with these kinds of concerns,
today, together with Director Yang Hae-won of Inique,
we will explain how fat grafting can help create
a more youthful-looking face.

Generally, the smoother the surface of the face is,
the more beautiful and youthful it tends to look.
On the other hand, the bumpier it is,
the more likely it is to be perceived as less beautiful
and older-looking.

Of course, as skin aging progresses in reality,
the surface of the face becomes uneven.
In such cases, the procedure I would most recommend
is fat grafting.
What is fat grafting?

Fat grafting is a surgical method based on collecting
your own fat from areas such as the thighs or abdomen
and transplanting that fat to the areas where it is needed.

Which areas of the body can be treated with fat grafting?

First, it can be performed on the forehead.
Because the area with the brow bone protrudes
and the area just above it is sunken,
filling in the depressed part can create
a smooth and voluminous forehead surface.

Second, the temples.
The temples become hollow as we age.
There is a fat pad in the temple area,
and as we get older, the amount of fat decreases,
causing the temples to sink in as well.
In this case too, fat grafting can help achieve
a smoother surface.

Third, the hollowing above the eyes.
As we age, hollowing can also appear above the eyes.
At this time, improvement can also be attempted
through fat grafting,
and using evenly refined particles can lead to an even smoother
and better result.
It is best to use fat particles of 1 mm or smaller.

Fourth, the under-eye area.
In the case of Gangnam Encore under-eye fat grafting,
it can also be applied to the aegyo-sal area,
and if there is hollowing under the eyes,
nano fat grafting can be attempted there.
For the aegyo-sal area, fat of 0.7 mm or smaller
is mainly used,
and when used in Gangnam Encore under-eye fat grafting,
fat of 0.6 mm or smaller can be placed
under the skin.
Through this, it can help make the under-eye area
brighter and more radiant,
while creating a smoother surface,
with a favorable prognosis expected.
Depending on the individual, if the front cheekbone area
is hollow,
adding volume there can make the face appear
much more youthful.

Fifth, the cheeks and side cheeks.
The cheeks refer to the area below the front cheekbones,
and the side cheeks refer to the area below the zygomatic arch
when viewed from the side.
So if fat grafting is done to these areas,
you can expect not only a smoother look but also
a more youthful effect.

Sixth, the chin tip.
For those with a recessed chin,
fat grafting to the chin tip can add forward volume
and complete a more balanced face.
Today, together with Director Yang Hae-won of Inique,
we provided a detailed guide to the areas where
fat grafting can be beneficial.
If you are worried about hollowing and uneven surfaces,
try improving them with youthful procedures such as
Gangnam Encore under-eye fat grafting and fat grafting!
