Hello, this is Ainic, an eyelid surgery clinic.
Although inner beauty is said to be more important than outward appearance,
the importance of appearance in modern society continues to rise day by day.

This is because an attractive and pretty face
can naturally work to one’s advantage
when building relationships or living a social life.
For example, when purchasing an item,
if the conditions are the same,
people choose the better option,
and appearance can also be influenced by such factors.

For this reason, many people
continuously take an interest in and observe their own faces,
worrying about whether there are any areas that seem lacking.

If there is a part that feels a little disappointing,
they may cover it with makeup or a hairstyle.
It would be fortunate if it could be improved with those methods alone,
but in the case of something like the eyes, which are seen first in a first impression,
can be difficult to improve easily,
and if it is a complex in the area that draws the most attention during conversation,
more and more people are choosing eyelid surgery.

When people hear “eyelid surgery,”
they may think, “Isn’t it a simple cosmetic procedure?”
and many are familiar with it to the point that it could be called a representative plastic surgery procedure.
However, can eyelid surgery really be done in a simple way?
What are the methods for achieving a successful result?
An eyelid surgery clinic will explain in detail.
The representative methods are the non-incision method and the incision method.
Rather than saying that one is definitively better when comparing the two,
each type has its own advantages and disadvantages,
so the key is to comprehensively consider your own eyes,
the thickness of the skin,
whether ptosis is present,
and other factors,
then choose the appropriate method.

The first, the non-incision method,
creates the double eyelid through a pinching principle.
The procedure involves making a small hole in the eyelid
and using thread there to create the line.
It may feel relatively simple and 부담없다고, but due to the nature of the non-incision method,
the chance of it coming undone is relatively high.
If your eye-opening strength is weak
or you have a lot of fat in the upper eyelid,
it can come undone more easily.

The second, the incision method,
creates the double-eyelid line through surgical incision.
Because the line is firmly fixed by making an incision,
there is relatively less possibility of it coming undone,
and it is easier to complete a more distinct-looking double eyelid.
However, because there is swelling at the surgical site,
a period of complete recovery is needed.
At the eyelid surgery clinic,
we do our best to complete a double eyelid that is natural, defined,
and can be maintained for a long time.
Depending on the individual’s condition,
we may also perform ptosis correction together for those with a lot of fat,
which can improve the feeling of heaviness around the eyes.

At Ainic, the eyelid surgery clinic,
we mainly perform three methods.
These are the Smooth Incision Method, High-Density Non-Incision Method,
and Fat-Removal Non-Incision Method.
So, we will now explain in detail
what features, advantages, and procedures
each method has.

First, the Smooth Incision Method
is Ainic’s signature surgical technique.
It is a method that can complete a smooth line while preventing a pinched appearance and scarring.
A particularly notable feature of the Smooth Incision Method
is that it uses “triple fixation.”
This is a principle that ties and fixes the levator palpebrae superioris at the front part of the eyelid and the tarsal plate,
which are areas that are especially prone to loosening after creating a double eyelid.
Because it is handled firmly,
the chance of it coming undone is low.

The number of point fixations is also generous, at around 7 to 9 points,
so the line is smooth and neat.

The High-Density Non-Incision Method at the eyelid surgery clinic
is performed using the “pinching method,” as explained earlier.
To explain more simply,
the incision method creates an adhesion line,
whereas the non-incision method proceeds by creating an “adhesion point,”
so it is relatively more likely to come undone.
Therefore, to make up for the shortcomings of the non-incision method
and reduce the possibility of loosening,
a 10-point fixation is used to create the line.
This helps increase durability, and because needle holes are created at the fixation points
and the outer area is performed with a micro-incision of about 2 mm,
scarring is minimal.

Next is the Fat-Removal Non-Incision Method.
Some people have especially thick upper eyelids.
Even if such people try to open their eyes as wide as possible,
they may still feel somehow heavy,
and it can be difficult to create a defined impression.
For these people, the suitable method to try is the Fat-Removal Non-Incision Method.
If surgery is performed without removing the fat,
even if a double eyelid is created,
the eyelid may look puffy due to the fat above the eye,
and a heavy feeling may remain.
The high-density non-incision method uses a 4 mm micro-incision,
so the area involved is very small,
and it can be completed with a defined line while keeping the risk of scarring low.
