These days, it seems like there are quite a few adaptations of novels and webtoons coming out, and whether on CRT or on the screen, this probably happens because they are stories many people have already vetted, so they feel like a safer choice.
It is based on a webtoon.
This is Fashion King, a film starring Joo Won that I have been waiting for lately.
I heard it was famous.
So I waited for its release date, and during production, programs introducing the film became a topic of conversation on various variety shows, so my expectations were high. I sat in the theater and waited for the release.
When the movie began, Joo Won, whom I had been eagerly waiting to see lately, finally appeared on screen as a victim of school violence, and when he became a visual object, he looked really cool.
Only temporarily. As the story progresses, the structure becomes too loose, and it is hard to relate to.
Despite the distinctive acting skills of actor Kim Sung-woo, who has recently been making a serious name for himself as an actor, the awkwardness did not disappear.

In the end, the sluggishness swallowed up not only the outstanding Joo Won but all of the actors who appeared in the work, and the disappointment grew larger toward the second half.
If actors with strong acting skills like Kim Sung-woo chose this kind of work instead of the cool Joo Won.
I want to say that, but this is a post that anyone can read, so I’ll leave it at that.
Anyway, I hope that Fashion King will not have a negative impact on the next projects of Joo Won, who became a major star through it, or actor Kim Sung-woo, who has such a strong personality.
