My name is Si.
These days, there has been a lot of rain in Busan.
It was sometimes sunny, but soon it became cloudy and then it rained again.
Anyway, while listening to the sound of rain falling by the window, today’s post has a somewhat exaggerated part.
This is the first long-term project for our blog, Jadang Workshop.
We plan to serialize the process of making an acoustic guitar.
This is a scene from the film Begin Again.
Next is a still from the movie http blog naver com jimmylab 220312363776.
In the previous post, the top, back, and sides of the guitar used were all made of solid wood, and a guitar made that way is called an all-solid guitar.
A cheap guitar, shortened to all sol, uses plywood that bends easily on the sides, so it does not break easily even if struck, as shown in the photo.
It is commonly called plywood.

The body is not resonant, so if it is too thick, it may crack.
So hard, unseasoned wood has to be heated and bent one piece at a time like this.
Of course, this piece would be interesting, but it seems too large, so most factories use this method to bend it.
A family tree does not necessarily mean it is smart.
There may be situations where the price rises unnecessarily.
Even so, this spruce top provides excellent overtones and sustain when tapped.
This is cardboard or box paper used to keep the inside shape.
A seagull shape tied with string. I personally like it very much.
The shape of the body has nice curves.
In addition to this border, there is a layer on the edge, and the colors go very well together, and finally, the inlaid bridge pin bridge nut, etc.
You can’t miss them.
