Romantic Comedy Film Review: Excluding Sentiment and Comedy

The 2010 film Hello Ghost is a unique movie with special scenes featuring ghosts, rather than just a straightforward moving film.

Of course, this is not a very new film.

It was so good that I watched it on VOD.

This is not a film that deals with the sluggishness of the first half and the big twist in the second half. Cha Tae-hyun and Go Kyung-pyo are a pretty good duo in director Kim Young-tak’s lineup. Since it is a movie, my expectations were high, but it did not do well at the box office.

Let me give a brief review.

Unfortunately, rather than being an emotional family film, this movie is closer to a romance. It is a film that tries to make you feel emotions, but the progression is very disappointing.

There is too much of a love line with Nam Sang-mi, and although the emotional code that should have been restored throughout the film appears as romance, it did not feel very moving.

Romance. This is a film with many characters.

Hu Dal-su, who plays the brother, is a young but diligent bus driver who throws a baseball alone every night. Appears as an extra. They are buried under the romantic code.

It is not meant to make you feel the emotional development of each person’s life by looking at the many characters one by one.

It completely destroys expectations. As expected, since this is a comedy-romance film, you would expect comic situations.

A photo that makes you laugh just by looking at it. In some ways, it is a pretty funny situation, but it is not funny, and situations that seem briefly funny and actually funny keep happening, but it is not the kind of comedy that makes you laugh out loud while watching the movie. The protagonist is watching the film. The theme of the film’s eyesight. The poster says that the main subject of this film is CCTV.

But unfortunately, the material is not used well as an emotional perspective, and it would be better if it could be used as an important subject for comedy directors in slow-motion dynamic director romantic films, and similar works. The final theme was just material for an overall description of the film, but it was discarded. The theme of CCTV observation became the main theme, and even if the title did not need to be expressed through slow video, it is not like that. As for eyesight, it would be better to say that a special eye disease is enough.

A disappointing film with a lot of regret over the unsatisfactory use of 3 characters and 4 something that seems to have been forcibly attached to the material of bodily eyesight.
