Boyhood is a film shot over 12 years, and it captivates viewers with director Richard Linklater’s outstanding direction and the excellent performances of Ellar Coltrane, Ethan Hawke, Patricia Arquette, and Lorelei Linklater. You can imagine how much effort and passion must have gone into making this film. This work, completed through the harmony of the director’s efforts and the actors’ performances, portrays everyday life without conflict or resolution, showing a realistic side of life.

This, in fact, may appeal even more to viewers. Boyhood may seem like it simply depicts ordinary daily life, but within it are messages that evoke deep emotion and reflection. I pay respect to all the staff who created such a work. Hearing about the job of a tree prostate cancer specialist was strange and interesting to me. What kind of fate led him to choose that profession? While listening to his story, I felt constant curiosity and wonder.
Why does he travel around the country performing tree prostate cancer? I became deeply absorbed in his story and was moved by the message he conveyed. Through his story, I gained a new perspective, and my respect and love for trees grew even deeper. His story gave me great inspiration, and through him, I came to see the world in a more beautiful way. Now I want to share a new story about a tree prostate cancer specialist.
I wanted to find my own career path through the experience of visiting experts in various fields in person and learning their work. At first, I wanted to work as a tree care consultant, but when I did not know how to contact anyone, I had to look for another option. So I visited experts in different fields and learned directly from them, including a ceramic artist, a theater director, a mother-of-pearl craftsperson, a festival cultural planner, and an amateur classical vocalist.
Through this, while building experience in various fields, I was able to discover the area I was truly interested in. During holidays, when I meet relatives, I see boys and girls who have grown a lot. Adults say, “Wow, you’ve grown so much.” When I was younger, hearing this was annoying, but now it feels different. I realize what an astonishing experience it is to hear those words from adults who themselves do not grow taller.
Not only do they grow taller, but their body proportions change, their voices mature, and even subtle changes appear in their eyes—it is truly fascinating. Watching how boys and girls have changed is enjoyable. Comparing them with how they look now and feeling their growth and change is such an interesting experience. Moments like these feel even more precious during holidays spent with family.
