Top 3 Dramas That Are Fun to Rewatch
There are dramas that are enjoyable and fun no matter when you watch them, even if you watch them several times.
These are dramas I personally recommend, and they’re great for people who haven’t seen them yet as well as for those who want to watch them again.
I’ve carefully selected only the ones I think you really should see~

Descendants of the Sun

This is a love story between a doctor and a soldier. It also includes a doctor’s coming-of-age journey, camaraderie, and loyalty to national defense.
It is a drama that deals with the weighty theme of the dignity of life from two different perspectives: the doctor, who saves lives by treating people, and the soldier, who protects life by taking lives.
As expected from a drama by Kim Eun-sook, the writer known for her memorable lines, this was an entertaining drama that also left a strong impression with its male lead, who made many women’s hearts flutter. I think it also made the idea of soldiers feel even more romantic~

Goblin

Goblin is a romance fantasy filled with a truly fantastical but somewhat wishful story.
As I make these recommendations, it may seem like I’m only mentioning Kim Eun-sook’s dramas... but that’s because the lingering feeling her dramas leave behind, along with the lessons(?) within them, are so deeply moving that I end up recommending them : )
It was truly complete in the way it told the story of human life and death, and even what comes after death. I could clearly feel that Kim Eun-sook deeply and intently contemplated human life and tried to portray it in a weighty and profound way.

Mr. Sunshine, Secret Garden

Likewise, if I were to choose another enjoyable fantasy romance work, Secret Garden cannot be left out : )
The process of Kim Joo-won and Gil Ra-im, two incredibly charming characters, coming to understand their differences as their souls switch bodies, along with Kim Joo-won’s trauma being healed and his awakening to true love, was all so perfect.
And Mr. Sunshine, which is currently airing on tvN, is a drama that depicts the early 20th century and can be described as a confessional of the painful modern history of Korea.
A rich drama that captures just the right amount of Kim Eun-sook’s humor, seriousness, and loneliness!
I would also strongly recommend binge-watching this drama!
