To be honest, it is not entirely wrong.
But more precisely,
it is not that thread lifting itself comes loose quickly,
but rather that the effect of a procedure with less-than-ideal planning fades quickly.
That small difference determines whether the retention period is successful or not.
The skin of the face is made up, from the outside inward, of the skin layer → fat layer
→ fascial layer (SMAS layer) → muscle layer.
Among these, the key factor that determines the retention period of thread lifting is the firm fixation of the fascial layer.
The fascial layer is a tough fibrous tissue that acts like a “support structure on top of the skeleton” for the face.
The fundamental reason the face sags with age is also that
this fascial layer gradually sinks downward under gravity.
So only when the thread reaches this layer accurately can it truly lift the sagging tissue,
and the effect will last longer as well.
On the other hand, what happens if the thread stays only in the fat layer?
It is like holding onto soft tissue only,
so even ordinary facial movements in daily life
