I decided to give a lecture at a practice opening seminar

I think it is a tremendous honor to be able to share the story of our Jejugo Dentistry,
which started a new practice in Gangnam with no prior base
and has grown little by little in an upward trend up to now,
with people who are preparing to open their own practice.

While preparing the lecture, for the first time in a long while,
I went back and reread the practice-opening diary I had written on this blog.
Even I was really surprised that
my thoughts now and my thoughts back then were exactly the same.
So I guess I was simply the kind of person
who was meant to open a practice in this form.

People who came after being told at other dental clinics
that their treatment could not be done with resin
People from all over the country who were told that resin breaks easily and falls out
and were given a crown-based treatment plan
A dental clinic that can provide completely no-prep resin treatment
That is Jejugo Dentistry.

So that is not because I am especially great,
but just because it is a kind of attitude toward life.
I also told a patient this recently,
but if you post on your blog that your clinic provides a certain treatment,
then when a real patient comes, you actually have to provide that treatment,
and I think there are quite a few people who do not do that.
At our clinic, we do this kind of treatment.
But we won’t do it for you.^^
Why don’t you just get it extracted and have an implant?
What kind of brand would that kind of attitude become?

That aside,
when our clinic suddenly went viral on More Dent,
I was quite taken aback, but I think it was a fun? funny event.
It was just a case of revenue turning out well once in a while,
but in the lecture I gave at the OF DENTIS practice opening seminar the month before,
I had publicly mentioned the target revenue,
and we surpassed that exact number the very next month,
so it just became a moment that made me think,
“I guess I’m not just a delusional braggart~
I should try to do even better going forward.”
The month after that, revenue dropped a lot again,
so it just became a moderate upward-trending graph,
but it showed that there is potential,
so I should try to recreate it.

Anyway, for the offline practice opening seminar in October,
I am planning to talk in detail? about our clinic and my perspective.
I keep making and deleting slides,
rearranging the layout this way and that,
thinking a lot about what story to tell and in what order so that it comes across well.
I keep wondering what kind of stories people would want to hear from me.

Targeting and positioning
become the 기준 for decision-making at every moment.
It was the same when opening the practice,
when writing the practice-opening book,
and when preparing practice-opening lectures.
That said, I can’t know for sure until I try
whether it will really resonate with the target group I had in mind,
but the directors who register for the seminar
will surely come with some kind of expectation,
so I want to prepare hard
so that even if I go just 0.1 step deeper than that,
I can offer at least one insight
that cannot be heard anywhere else.
