Autumn has fully arrived.
When it comes to autumn, it’s all about the fall foliage.
There’s already autumn color at Seoripul Park on my way to work.
Seeing things like this makes me feel good.
I went to a reserve-duty training session on Sunday,
and the trees around the training site were beautiful too.
And by the way, never mind the other things,
live-fire shooting with the M16 was fun.

Xeomin, Coretox
Since I’ve been doing so many Botox injections for bruxism,
It’s been about a year since I last advertised.
It’s been a long time since I wrote a Botox post on the blog.
Still, thankfully, people keep coming,
They refer others, spread the word,
and that’s a good thing.
I really haven’t been marketing at all, but many people still come.
Since the Botox training course in 2019,
after opening the clinic I’ve ended up doing a lot of Botox,
and I’m really glad patients like it.
I think it’s thanks to the Botox patients who have been especially proactive
about leaving good reviews. 👍
According to the official notice from the Xeomin pharmaceutical company (Merz Aesthetics),
our dental clinic’s Xeomin usage
is ranked No. 2 nationwide.
Crazy—No. 2 in the country, wow.
I knew we did a lot, but that’s really a lot.

The clinic keeps growing,
so much that I’m not envious of anyone.

But on the treatment side,
I’m going on overseas training as well
and practicing, studying, and thinking every day
so I can bring out even more craftsmanship
and find ways to treat better.
I think I’m really lucky to be able to talk with clinic directors
who devote their money, time, and passion
to improving treatment outcomes, even by just a little.
To Director Choi Min-wook of Hanyang University ERICA Able Dental Clinic,
my always overwhelming gratitude 🏆

Almost every week,
dental clinic directors come to tour the clinic,
and one time, a director said,
“Director So, whatever you do,
you do it in a way that no other clinic does at all,
so it feels special,
and everyone around thinks it’s amazing.”
So he asked what I thought about other clinics copying things.
I said that rather than copying with bad intentions,
if you keep seeing something over and over,
you might even mistakenly think you came up with it yourself.
I think the plagiarism controversies involving J.Y. Park or Yoo Hee-yeol’s music
are similar in that sense.
A melody that comes to mind
might be something you composed yourself,
or it might be something you heard somewhere and are just humming.
I think it can be hard to tell.
That’s why I don’t really look at promotional materials from other clinics.
Instead, I tend to look at a lot of other things and remember them.

The idea for connecting to Wi-Fi with a QR code
came from the modem for the home Wi-Fi.

The idea for matching uniforms and working together
came from a store uniform I saw
when I was working in Miryang
and went to Daegu’s Dongseong-ro to hang out.

The mini library display called Arcane Library of Aesthetic Secrets,
made with the books, notes, and resin I studied with,
was inspired by

the worktable at the Caran d’Ache boutique.
I had thought for a long time that I wanted to make something like that,
and I happened to find just the right piece of furniture,
so I took this opportunity to make it happen.

The orange receipt inspired by a Jeju Air ticket
—this seems to be something everyone already knows.
Actually, I introduced Toss Front at the clinic
just so I could do this first,
but now everyone uses Toss.
If it’s not customizable, I don’t know why people even bother.
Actually, I’m planning to leave Toss soon.

Someone once said
that a dental clinic should feel like a dental clinic.
But what does “like a dental clinic” even mean?
A home can feel like a café,
and a café can feel like a home,
but can’t a dental clinic have a comfortable,
cozy atmosphere like a home?
The fact that my clinic gives off that feeling
is what makes it my clinic.
That’s why it’s a clinic that’s not envious of anyone—
my clinic.
