“do a good job of ~ing” means “to do ~ well,” and is used when praising someone for carrying out an action or activity well, or when giving a positive evaluation.

In academic meetings or presentations, it can be used to mention a fellow researcher’s achievements or introduce your own research content while conveying a polite and natural positive tone.
