39 medical professionals co-authored the book, covering everything from basic knowledge to the latest treatment methods and clinical applications

Director Kim Jin-oh of New Hair Hair Transplant and Plastic Surgery said that he published Hair Science: Everything About Non-Surgical Hair Loss Treatment and Non-Incision Hair Transplantation (Gunja Publishing) together with 35 doctors who have devoted themselves to hair loss treatment and hair transplantation.
In celebration of this publication, Director Kim Jin-oh will hold a publication event on Saturday, April 26, at the Grand InterContinental Parnas (Iris Hall, 2F) starting at 6 p.m., with the intention of encouraging everyone to keep moving forward together.
Director Kim Jin-oh explained, "There are doctors who have devoted themselves to hair loss treatment and hair transplantation. There are doctors who have consistently made efforts in various academic societies, research, and presentations of clinical cases. The writing began from the feeling that I wanted these efforts, made at various research societies and elsewhere, not to disappear, but to remain."
Hair Science, Volume 1, was published as a co-authored work under the names of 36 medical professionals. Hair Science, Volume 2: Everything About the Latest Hair Loss Treatments and Hair Transplantation is being co-authored by 39 medical professionals.
Director Kim Jin-oh said, "Although it is a small movement, by sharing a direction toward sustainable and proper medicine and sharing a variety of clinical knowledge along with the latest trends, patients will continue to receive high-quality medical services. I am grateful that this book was created and published by bringing together the valuable manuscripts of many medical professionals with a shared purpose."
He added, "In terms of the individual values of medical professionals who run their own clinics for hair loss treatment and hair transplantation, they may be competitors, but it was a process in which they encouraged one another, placed greater value on medical principles, and supported each other in moving forward together."
The publication event will also feature author lecture programs. It will begin with a lecture by Director Kim In-seong (MOEM Clinic) titled "Effective Ways to Respond When Suturing Is Difficult During Incision Hair Transplantation," followed by lectures from Director Kim Hyeong-seok (Maxwell Plastic Surgery) on "Treatment Using Arke Chitosan and Insurance Claim Cases for Covered and Non-Covered Hair Loss Conditions" and "Tips for Crown Hair Transplantation," as well as a session sharing practical clinical cases by Director Kim Ju-yong (Cham Doctor Clinic). A special lecture by Director Jeong Seok-hwan (Gamtan Dental Clinic) titled "AI Trends: How Can They Be Applied in Private Practice?" is also planned.
Director Kim Jin-oh said, "Along with the current medical environment, many members of the public have come to recognize the importance of doctors' training and education. In a time when the value of hospitals with training functions is important, it is by no means easy for doctors in private practice to come together, continuously share clinical cases, and learn the latest techniques for treatment. I hope that the publication of Volume 2 of Hair Science, which covers a broad range of content from basic knowledge that helps with fundamental understanding of hair loss treatment and hair transplantation to the latest treatment methods and clinical applications, will also be helpful."
