Hello, I’m your plastic surgery doctor.
I’m Lim Seong-yoon, a board-certified plastic surgeon and the director of Just Plastic Surgery.
“Since it’s non-incisional, doesn’t that mean fat can’t be removed?”
“If it’s a natural adhesion method, is it less suitable for thicker eyelids?”
These are questions I often receive during consultations.
Today, I’ll explain why fat removal is also possible with a non-incisional double eyelid procedure, which many people are curious about, as well as Just Plastic Surgery’s detailed surgical method.
You’re saying fat removal is possible even with a non-incisional double eyelid procedure?
Just Plastic Surgery’s non-incisional method is a little different

At our clinic, we use not a simple buried-suture method,
but a “continuous buried suture method” in which the thread is passed 12 times in a row through a total of 6 tiny openings.
✔️ It helps reduce the possibility of loosening
✔️ It is a method that promotes a more natural and stable adhesion
By taking into account the anatomical structure on the inner side of the eyelid,
it creates a more precise and natural result.
Fat removal is also possible — without an incision
One of the main reasons eyelids look thick is orbital fat.
Before surgery, I carefully analyze the anatomical structure of the eye and the distribution of fat.
If there is a lot of fat?
✔️ Through some of the 6 openings, the orbital septum can be finely opened to remove fat.
✔️ This is possible without a separate incision, and scarring is 거의 minimal.
✔️ By removing fat, the upper eyelid can be improved to look lighter and more defined.
Recommended in these cases

If you are someone with the following concerns,
you may expect better results through a non-incisional double eyelid procedure + fat removal:
-
When there is a lot of upper eyelid fat, making the eyelids feel heavy and look sleepy
-
When the distance between the eyes and eyebrows is small, creating a thick and stuffy appearance
-
When incision scars are a concern and you want improvement with a non-incisional method
Preview of the next post – actual surgery scenes and result analysis
In the next blog post,
I plan to introduce a more detailed analysis of the results, including actual surgery scenes:
📸 A view of orbital fat protruding above the eye during surgery
📸 A photo of the removed fat placed on gauze
📸 Before-and-after comparison photos and an analysis of the changes
We appreciate your interest.
A non-incisional double eyelid procedure is not just a simple buried-suture method.
If accurate understanding of the anatomical structure of the eye
and careful judgment are added, fat removal is fully possible,
and the result can lead to a lighter, more refined eye shape.
