Hello,
I’m Lim Sung-yoon, a board-certified plastic surgeon at JUST Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Today, instead of my usual posts about surgery or procedures,
I’d like to share something a little more personal
about why I run this blog.
✔️ It has only been 3 months since I started the blog
In fact, it has only been about 3 months since I started blogging.
While keeping up with surgery, consultations, and a busy schedule every day,
I’ve been setting aside a little time here and there
and steadily organizing my own clinical experiences and thoughts
into writing.
✔️ Why did I start?
These days, there are so many
ad-style blogs and promotional contents on the internet
that I know many people say, “I don’t read plastic surgery blogs.”
So there was a time when I also thought,
“Who would even read this?”
But,
I started with the hope that if it’s a story written with genuine sincerity,
maybe it will eventually be conveyed.
✔️ It still doesn’t get much exposure yet, but...

It still doesn’t get many people coming in through search,
but so that anyone who visits me can read it in advance,
and because I wanted to share my treatment philosophy and surgical principles,
I carefully write a few posts every week.
✔️ But! There was a customer who came after reading the blog!
A few days ago, something very encouraging happened.
A customer who came in for a consultation said,
“I read your blog posts and they were very helpful.”
At that moment, I felt both really touched and grateful.
I thought, “I need to write even more diligently!”
✔️ From now on, I’ll share a wider variety of more interesting topics!
Going forward,
📌 not only clinical stories about surgery/procedures,
📌 but also episodes from the consultation room,
📌 the treatment principles I usually value,
📌 and sometimes even stories I feel as a doctor, and as a person
I’ll try to share more varied and interesting content.
If there’s a topic you’re curious about, please leave a comment. 😊
I’d appreciate your interest and support,
and I’ll keep working hard on patient care and posting good articles whenever I can.

In closing
As a plastic surgeon,
I believe that creating good results is important,
but communication and empathetic care are just as important.
I hope this blog
can become a place where my sincerity reaches
those who are considering surgery, even just a little.
From here on as well,
I’ll continue more diligently and more sincerely.
Please keep cheering me on. Thank you.
