20 Years as a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon, 7 Years Since Opening

Hello. I am Lee Seong-yoon, the CEO and head surgeon of Just Plastic Surgery.

I started as a plastic surgery resident in 2005, and this year marks my 20th year as a board-certified plastic surgeon,

and my 7th year as the head surgeon since opening the clinic in 2018.

At first, like anyone else, I worked to refine my surgical skills

and did my best to make sure patients were satisfied.

At the large hospital, my main areas were

eyelid surgery and facelifts,

and I also focused on those fields in the early days of opening my clinic.

My Encounter with Thread Lifting

Then, by chance, I came across thread lifting.

At the time, board-certified plastic surgeons viewed thread lifting with skepticism.

Even I, who mainly practiced surgery, wondered, “Will it really work? Will patients like it?” I was half doubtful.

But surprisingly,

many customers who received the lifting treatment were happy and came back.

For me, who had mainly practiced surgery,

it was a very fresh experience,

and it became an important turning point for Just Plastic Surgery.

The Process of 고민 and Evolution

Thread lifting was by no means simple.

👆 Which areas should be improved to make someone look younger? 👆 What is the way to make it natural without swelling? 👆 How can the request, “Please pull it a lot,” be realistically achieved?

I continued to think carefully about how to create results that were not lacking in effect,

while at the same time not looking unnatural.

In that process, my lifting journey evolved from

Peach Lifting → Peach Silhouette

Egg Lifting → Triple Egg Lifting

and the materials and design of the threads also changed continuously. I am still researching new lifting methods with the philosophy of, “Let’s improve it beyond the existing version, no matter what.”

A New Challenge, Peach Lab

In 2022, I founded Peach Lab Co., Ltd.

and launched lifting tape, lifting bands, and premium mask packs.

In particular, the lifting band and mask pack sold out,

and upgraded new products are scheduled to be released soon.

This challenge began with the desire to help people become “younger”

not only in the treatment room,

but also in their daily lives.

The Joy and Calling of Plastic Surgery

Looking back, at first

I started in order to survive in the fierce plastic surgery market.

But as time passed,

I realized that this work had become not just survival, but joy.

When eyelid surgery (double eyelids, revision surgery), lower blepharoplasty (under-eye fat repositioning), and lifting

come together to change a patient’s impression,

I feel a deep sense of fulfillment every time I see a satisfied smile.

And I asked myself:

"Why is this work so enjoyable?"* "Why am I doing this work?"*

The answer was clear.
