The time spent on the patient here can include consultation time, procedure time, post-procedure care time, and so on.

In particular, “consultation with the medical staff” is the first step in accurately understanding each person’s skin characteristics and condition, and it is a very critical stage that determines the outcome of the procedure.

This is because even if two people have the same skin concern, the treatment method can be completely different depending on each person’s skin condition and circumstances.

In fact, even if two people have the same skin concern, the combination and method of procedures will differ depending on skin thickness, degree of aging, wrinkle depth, skin elasticity, and more.

In other words, if this step is skipped, it becomes impossible to perform an accurate skin analysis, and the likelihood of reduced effectiveness inevitably increases.

“Designing a 1:1 customized plan”

If we have determined the necessary treatment method that suits your skin condition through the consultation mentioned above, the next step is a careful design process.

Each person has a different appearance, build, facial features, personality, skin condition, skin thickness, middle skin layer, skin tone, skin texture, and elasticity.

If we perform standardized treatment without considering these individual differences, the likelihood of receiving a procedure that does not suit your skin increases, and it may become difficult to achieve the desired results afterward.

That is why I carry out this design stage very carefully.

Even when performing lifting, fillers, or even just Botox, I consider all of the factors below.

Brow and outer eye-corner height

Temple and cheekbone shape, thickness of the cheekbone fat layer

Whether there is hollowness in the outer cheek

Degree of asymmetry in the left and right cheeks and jawline (there is always asymmetry)

By checking all of these, I create a very detailed plan—where to reduce fat, where to add volume with fillers or Juvelook, and how to distribute the number of shots differently depending on asymmetry—and then begin the treatment.

Personally, I believe the key elements of skin procedures are “pain” and “effectiveness.”

This is because no matter how effective a procedure is, if the pain is too severe, it cannot be continued; and even if it can be done comfortably without pain, it is meaningless if the effectiveness is lacking.

In other words, the core of a skin procedure is achieving the best possible results within a tolerable level of pain.

So, how can this be confirmed?

First, experience.

To manage both pain and effectiveness, a large amount of clinical experience is unavoidable.

Only after years of experience with more than 2,000 filler cases alone and more than 30,000 clinical cases was I finally able to achieve both reduced pain and improved effectiveness.
