Hello.
I am Dr. Park Tae-oh of Relive Clinic, where we practice with the philosophy that “pain is not necessary to become beautiful.”
Today, I’d like to talk about the effects of forehead skin botox.
If you are interested in dermatology, you may have heard the term skin botox at least once.
It is also called dermotoxin, and it is popular because it offers good value for money while also delivering fairly good results.
However, many people hesitate because of the pain.
In fact, if you study this pain more deeply, it is something that can be controlled more than you might think.
(Many people believe that it hurts because the dermal layer is torn, and that this is normal.)

To brag a little... so far, no one who received skin botox at Relive has cried.
We really care that much about pain control...
Anyway, let’s get to the main point.
Forehead Skin Botox Effects

If you were to name the most noticeable effect of skin botox, it would definitely be the forehead.
It is especially effective for horizontal fine lines rather than deep wrinkles, and when combined with Rejuran, even a single treatment can significantly reduce horizontal fine lines.
As those who have tried it know, it also helps improve the texture of the skin itself.
A question many people ask is, “Is skin botox different from wrinkle botox?”
Wrinkle botox is injected into the muscles to relax them.
Skin botox is injected into the dermal layer of the skin. There is some overlap, but their roles and purposes are slightly different.
Let’s summarize the overall effects of skin botox.
Summary of Skin Botox Effects

-
Pore reduction effect: Skin botox suppresses the overactivity of the sebaceous glands and sweat glands on the skin’s surface. As a result, pores tighten and the skin overall becomes smoother.
-
Improved skin texture and elasticity: Collagen production is stimulated, and fine lines, vertical under-eye lines, and fine cheek lines are noticeably improved.
-
Reduced sebum production and acne relief: One reason many people get skin botox in summer is that sebum production decreases.
-
Improvement in redness: It helps control excessive sweat gland activity, and you may also notice a reduction in facial redness.
Skin Botox Pain

(I apologize for the poor quality of the mosaic censoring...)
Usually, many people receive it while tearing up, but at Relive we have a three-step pain control system and do our best to help you get skin botox as comfortably as possible. You can see this in our Naver Place reviews.
A treatment interval of about once every three months should be sufficient, and I highly recommend using a product without resistance development. Examples include Coretox or Xeomin.
I regularly perform the procedure on my own face with Xeomin. Now that summer is coming to an end, I think trying skin botox once could also be very good for skin health.
