Hello, I’m Director Tae-oh Park, working to help you become more beautiful while minimizing pain.
It is truly scorching hot this summer...
In summer, dark spots can become more pronounced seasonally, and skin elasticity can also decrease.
Strong UV rays penetrate as far as the dermis, leading to reactive oxygen species, collagen breakdown, and so on... I won’t go into too much detail because it would get boring.
Anyway, it is hot, and the kind of weather that makes you really not want to go anywhere.

Even in this weather, I can feel that interest in Serf lifting is growing day by day.
(You can see the tremendous growth just by looking at the search volume.)
Among those who visit us for lifting consultations, Serf is a treatment I confidently recommend to those who seem like a good fit for it.
The reason I like Serf is that I believe its underlying principles are good.
Today, I’ll talk about Serf lifting and how many shots may be appropriate.
Serf

Serf can be said to differ from existing radiofrequency devices. Thermage is one of the 대표ative radiofrequency devices.
It adds a 2 MHz lifting frequency to Thermage’s 6.78 MHz frequency.
The lifting effect of Thermage could be considered somewhat lacking, and Serf was introduced as a device that addresses that limitation.
At 2 MHz, it can be said to reach the deepest layer among radiofrequency devices, to the extent that the energy can reach the layer targeted by Ultherapy.

In addition, because this radiofrequency treatment uses a noninvasive method without affecting the skin’s surface, it has the advantage of requiring almost no recovery time and allowing you to return to your daily activities immediately.
Cases Suitable for Serf

-
Those whose facial skin tends to sag without firmness
-
Those who feel that their mid-cheeks and nasolabial folds are sagging
-
Those concerned about hollow cheeks from Ultherapy
-
Those with dull-looking skin
-
Those who want to build up their skin care gradually with one or two treatments a year
-
Those who absolutely hate pain but want to age more slowly
As you read this, you may think, “That’s me.”
Anyway, the comment I hear most often from patients after their treatment is, “My facial contours have been defined so much better.”
And hollow cheeks hardly occur (because I put a lot of effort into the treatment design, haha).
Serf: 600 Shots or 300 Shots?

I think you can choose based on the purpose of using Serf, but honestly, I do not recommend fewer than 600 shots.
With 300 shots, the treatment is used for lifting purposes, with an effect closer to that of Ultherapy. With 600 shots, you can aim for the lifting effect along with the slow-aging effect of radiofrequency.
Ultimately, I believe slow aging accounts for a large part of the purpose of receiving Serf treatment, which is why I always recommend 600 shots.
(However, if the sole purpose is lifting the nasolabial folds or mid-cheek area, 100–300 shots may occasionally be used. Although it is a radiofrequency treatment, its effects are quite good.)
We use Serf so frequently that our clinic was selected as the clinic with the highest amount of Serf use over a short period.
The more I use it, the more I feel that it is an appealing device that I can confidently recommend to patients.
I hope it continues to develop with the addition of various tips, such as the iTip and BodyTip.
Thank you. This was Director Park.
