How Many cc of Juvederm Filler Are Needed to Make Forehead Filler Look Natural?

A flat, wrinkled forehead can make your impression look stronger or older. Even if you cover it with makeup or bangs, the line usually still shows from the side.

“Doesn’t forehead filler look obvious?” I feel like this is a question I hear almost every time from people considering filler. Personally, I think if filler looks very obvious after the procedure, it’s a filler that went wrong.

I aim for natural-looking beauty. That’s why I tend to use the minimum amount for forehead filler.

The smoother and more three-dimensional the forehead curve is, the softer and more youthful the face looks. Today I’ll explain Juvederm filler in detail, which helps create a round and attractive forehead line.

What Is Juvederm Filler?

Juvederm is a premium filler based on hyaluronic acid (HA), and its safety has been certified by the U.S. FDA and Korea’s MFDS.

Because it is made of hyaluronic acid, a component that naturally exists in our skin, it has very little risk of rejection by the body, which is why it can be considered especially safe.

It directly replenishes the hyaluronic acid that decreases with age, filling in sunken areas and softening wrinkles.

When used for neck lines, smile lines, lips, cheeks, or the forehead, its viscosity, elasticity, and softness work together according to the characteristics of each Juvederm product to create a smooth finish.

Juvederm Filler Forehead Procedure Effects

1. Creates a three-dimensional curve : Fills in a flat or sunken forehead to refine the line and create a curve.

2. Improves facial impression : A forehead with more volume creates a much younger, more youthful appearance than a flat forehead.

3. Balances the cheekbone and eye area : When the forehead gains volume, the cheekbones appear less protruding, helping the overall face look more harmonious and balanced.

From my experience, if you want a smooth but very natural forehead curve, about 4 cc of Juvederm filler is appropriate. If you want a slightly fuller and more three-dimensional volume, about 6 cc may be needed.

You might think, “Wouldn’t that make it look too full?” but 4 cc is usually just enough to evenly and naturally fill in the curved areas. If you actually see 4 cc of liquid, you’ll probably realize how small that amount is.

The ideal forehead filler is a product with soft viscoelasticity that spreads evenly while maintaining volume, and Juvederm may feel a little uneven right after the procedure, but after a few days you can experience it settling naturally and smoothly.

Also, compared with domestic fillers, the duration is much longer and the stability is excellent, so the shape settles in nicely. (But domestic fillers are also very good, so whichever you choose should be fine.)

Even with the same product, the result changes depending on how, by whom, and where it is injected. That is what filler is all about.
