I’m Dr. Park, pursuing gentle procedures.
When looking in the mirror or taking a close-up photo,
a lot of people may be bothered by nasolabial folds, under-eye lines, and neck wrinkles.
However, many people hesitate because they worry about the foreign-body sensation of fillers or about looking unnatural.
Today, I’ll talk about the Swiss premium filler BELOTERO®, which can help ease those concerns.

What kind of filler is Belotero?
It is a filler based on Swiss hyaluronic acid (HA), and the Belotero Balance product has received strict FDA approval, proving its safety.
Manufactured using patented technology, Belotero balances cohesiveness, elasticity, and moldability in harmony.
It adheres naturally to the skin, lasts a long time, and stably creates the desired shape.
The major advantages of Belotero filler are its “natural look that doesn’t stand out” and its “comfort with almost no foreign-body sensation.”

○ 4 Belotero lineups
→ Suitable for improving fine lines such as thin wrinkles, around the eyes, and around the mouth.
Used when a natural and soft result is desired.
→ FDA-approved for effectiveness and safety in improving slightly deeper wrinkles such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
The most versatile product, with stable longevity and a natural effect.
→ A line used for deep wrinkles and for adding volume to areas that need it.
It has strong elasticity and excellent shape retention, producing a clear corrective effect.
→ Used for areas that need greater volume or volume restoration, such as the cheeks, temples, and jawline.
Shows stronger lifting and volume-reforming effects.
Among these, I only use Belotero Soft. Doctors who have tried Belotero will all know this. In my personal opinion, Belotero Soft is very good, and for the other types, other fillers are better.
For wrinkle fillers, nothing really matches Belotero Soft. These days, Byryzn is also widely used.

Belotero for neck wrinkles and skin texture improvement
When tying up the hair or wearing clothes that reveal the neckline, the area that tends to be bothersome is the horizontal neck wrinkles that run straight across.
The neck is one of the most difficult areas for filler procedures.
Because the skin is thin and the area moves a lot, unnatural lumping can easily occur,
but Belotero Soft has excellent cohesiveness and moldability, so it spreads smoothly and settles naturally even in horizontal and vertical neck wrinkle areas (if you use another Belotero product as a wrinkle filler, it can be a big problem... it can form bead-like lumps).

Belotero Soft spreads evenly along fine wrinkle lines, so you can expect an improvement in neck wrinkles.
I’m not saying Belotero is unconditionally the best,
but from the patient’s point of view, what matters more is providing information that helps them choose among fillers or skin procedures.
That is my opinion.

Belotero filler price
“How much is it?”, “About how much will it cost?”
Honestly, I think this may be the question dermatologists hear most often...
In general, pricing is often set by 1 cc units,
and Belotero is positioned at a slightly higher price range compared with existing fillers or trending products.
(It’s expensive to manufacture...)
The price is usually determined by the volume.
For Belotero filler, the average price per 1 cc seems to be around the 200,000 KRW to 400,000 KRW range at the very inexpensive places.
The cost may increase when combined with more advanced procedures.

Procedure method for horizontal neck wrinkle filler
Many people are surprised that neck wrinkle filler is less painful than expected. You might think it hurts more because the skin on the neck is thin, but in practice it can feel more comfortable than getting filler in the face. That’s why cream anesthesia alone can be enough.
After applying cream anesthesia for about 30 minutes, a thin needle is used to lift the neck wrinkles overall. The method involves placing filler in the dermal layer just below the deeply indented wrinkle so that the wrinkles are less visible. If the wrinkle is very deep, a slightly firmer filler may sometimes be used.
The pain is almost nonexistent or just a slight sting.
However, rather than comparing only the price of Belotero filler, you should also consider the duration and natural look.
Compared with domestic fillers that need to be topped up frequently over a short period, Belotero, which maintains itself stably for a long time, may be more efficient in terms of cost and in the long run,
so it is difficult to say that one filler is always the right choice.
