Does Pico Toning Laser Work for Removing Pigmentation and Melasma?

What is a Pico Toning laser?

Pico Toning is a procedure that selectively removes melanin pigment.

By arranging tiny convex lenses inside the handpiece to concentrate energy, it creates microscopic holes in the dermis and induces regeneration as they are filled with collagen.

The principle of the pico laser is

to deliver energy in an ultrafast unit called picoseconds (about one trillionth of a second... an unimaginably fast speed),

which is much shorter than conventional nanosecond lasers, allowing it to break down pigment more finely while reducing side effects and damage to skin tissue.

That is why the toning effect is stronger.

• Nanosecond laser: delivers energy for one billionth of a second, mainly producing a heat-based effect

• Pico laser: delivers powerful energy instantaneously in a very short one-trillionth-of-a-second interval, mechanically breaking pigment into much finer particles

In particular, it delivers outstanding results in tattoo removal, far beyond what conventional methods can achieve.
