Hello.
I’m Park Taeo, CEO of Lilliv Clinic.
Why don’t pores shrink easily?
Even after receiving procedures that stimulate the skin’s surface several times,
they often return over time.
"I even tried laser... why is it still the same?"
To answer that question first,
pores and skin texture are problems of the dermal structure, not the surface.
If this structure is not changed, Potenza’s effects are difficult to maintain.

Potenza is a method that changes the structure
Potenza is a needle RF device.
Fine needles enter the dermis, and then radiofrequency energy is delivered inward at that location.
In this process, it is not simply stimulation,
but an environment is created in which collagen and elastin are rearranged and newly formed.
If existing lasers focused on surface regeneration,
Potenza is a method that reorganizes the skin structure itself.
That is why after the procedure, many patients say,
"My makeup goes on better."
"My skin texture has become smoother."

Understanding effectiveness and maintenance through time
Potenza is a procedure whose results appear over time rather than immediately.
About 2 to 4 weeks after the procedure,
as collagen regeneration progresses, changes in skin texture and pores begin to be felt gradually.
This process continues for several months,
and can lead to pore reduction, improvement in unevenness, reduction of acne scars, and improved skin elasticity.

The maintenance period of Potenza varies from person to person,
but the effects can continue for several months,
and repeated treatments can produce gradual cumulative effects.
What matters is
not a single strong stimulation,
but repeated stimulation designed with recovery after the procedure in mind.

Pain is a matter of 'planning,' not the device
Potenza is known as a procedure that can be quite painful, right?
But in reality, the experience varies greatly depending on anesthesia and the procedure method.
If sufficient anesthesia time is provided and nerve block anesthesia is added when necessary, most people often describe it as only a "tingling" sensation.
On the other hand, if anesthesia is insufficient or the energy delivery is rough, the pain can feel much stronger.
In the end, dermatology pain,
like effectiveness, can be said to depend on the practitioner’s skill.

Potenza is definitely an effective device.
But more important is
how depth, intensity, and number of shots are determined.
The reason the results differ even with the same device is determined by this part.
The consultation and procedure planning part is
a area that requires direct examination of the skin and judgment.
Depending on whether the current skin condition is a surface problem or a condition that needs structural change,
the approach should be different, in my opinion.
Thank you.
