Hello.
I’m Director Park Tae-o of Relieve Clinic.

When people talk about lifting,
many think in terms of
‘how strongly it pulls the skin upward.’
But in actual skin structure,
rather than the force pulling from the outside,
how well the internal tissue has recovered
determines the result of skin lifting.

OLE WAVE,
which I’ll explain today,
is not a method that simply pulls the skin upward,
but an approach that releases hardened tissue and fibrosis
in the deep fascia, muscle layer, and dermis,
and restores the tissue’s own elasticity.
In other words, rather than creating lifting,
it is closer to recreating the conditions
that make lifting possible.

Changes created by shock waves
The key to OLE WAVE
is not heat, but “shock waves.”
This physical stimulus activates fibroblasts,
inducing collagen regeneration,
and at the same time improves microcirculation.
As a result,
cell regeneration, circulation in the fat layer, and the removal of inflammation and waste products
all take place together,
helping to improve the skin environment itself.
In particular, as lymphatic flow in the face is activated,
changes such as reduced swelling and more defined contours,
as well as a clearer skin tone,
are often seen at the same time.
It also has the characteristic of softening fibrotic tissue,
which can gently improve facial cellulite
and uneven skin texture.

Stimulating all skin layers at once
A feature of OLE WAVE
is that with one handpiece,
it can deliver energy to the entire skin layer.
Through a focus head that forms multiple focal points,
stimuli are delivered broadly and deeply
to the dermis, subcutaneous fat, and fascia layers.
Unlike devices that selectively stimulate only a specific depth,
this means it creates an environment
that improves the entire skin structure at once.
As a result,
collagen regeneration, anti-fibrosis response, and tissue recovery
occur in combination,
leading to lifting with improved firmness over time.

What matters is “suitability”
Although OLE WAVE is characterized by
less pain and a faster recovery,
it is not a treatment that applies equally in every case.
In particular,
for skin that does not tolerate heat stimulation well,
sensitive skin,
or cases in which skin reactivity has decreased due to repeated treatments,
it can be a good option.
On the other hand,
if it is immediately after another treatment,
or if there is an inflammatory condition,
then adjusting the timing is of course necessary, right?
I always say that lifting should not be chosen
just by looking at the name of the device;
it is important to choose what suits the skin condition.

At Apgujeong, OLE WAVE
is a method that gradually improves firmness
by restoring the deep structure of the skin,
rather than creating immediate changes.
Understanding this difference
and helping you decide on a treatment
that fits your skin
is what we at Relieve Clinic do.
I’m Dr. Park,
always working to make treatments as painless
and as comfortable as possible.
Thank you.
