Hello.
I’m Dr. Baek, a dentist who dreams of becoming a master of implants and a gourmet.
This is the second part of the two-part Conrad Tokyo trip I took during the 2024 Christmas season, and I’ll be sharing my Conrad Tokyo breakfast post :)
I have Hilton Honors Diamond status, so breakfast was provided for free!
I previously shared a post about going on a very cost-effective year-end Christmas season hotel stay at Conrad Tokyo using points with Hilton Honors Diamond status, and earlier this year I introduced a newly launched Lotte Card.
Using the Marriott Bonvoy Shinhan Card to get Platinum Elite status is great, but I think Hilton Diamond status through a Lotte Card is also one of the very good PLCC credit card options for overseas travel.
Personally, since the annual spending threshold to earn the status is lower, I would cautiously suggest that Lotte Card may be better as a card for everyday use.
Conrad Tokyo
(CONRAD TOKYO)
Connected to Shiodome Station, Conrad Tokyo is close to Haneda Airport, which you would likely use if departing from Gimpo Airport,
and it is in a very good location for reaching Tokyo Station to the north, Ginza and Roppongi to the west, and Odaiba to the east.
Usually, people don’t go to Japan just once or twice, so I recommend this place for those who want to move away from Shinjuku-Shibuya accommodations and enjoy a quieter hotel stay.

Conrad Tokyo Breakfast

This is a space on the lobby floor with large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up the view.
There are sofa seats and window seats, and there is quite a lot of seating, so there is rarely a need to line up.

As with other 5-star hotels, you can order small dishes.
It seems that one plate per person can be ordered!! Please be sure to note this!! (Editing the post ^^)
As I mentioned again, if you have Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond status, you can enjoy free breakfast for two every day!! That alone is incredibly helpful when traveling.
Not only small-dish brunch, but coffee is also provided without limit.
For those like me who enjoy having an iced latte in the morning, this would be perfect~

I was really looking forward to this because Japanese hotels are so delicious when it comes to bakery items!
As you can see, there are croissants and melon bread~~ muffins, pain au chocolat, and more...
The bakery items still look delicious even when I look at them again!!

There are also baguettes, and you can toast and eat sliced bread.
They provide delicious salted butter and fruit jams, so you can enjoy a very satisfying meal.

And another highlight - fresh juice!!
At good hotels, breakfast includes freshly squeezed juice~
As you can see, they offer apple, orange, grapefruit, and even yogurt~ They provide a very excellent selection!!
Looking back, it’s such a shame I had a coldㅠㅠ I could have eaten everything..

Japanese hotels also serve Japanese dishes like this. (Maybe that should be obvious?!)
If it suits your taste, it would be fun to try one by one. Haha.

I forgot because I didn’t eat them, but I wonder if there were menus like this too. lol
I actually like Japan, but I still have a long way to go in learning Japanese cuisine..

There was also dim sum~ shrimp dim sum and pork dim sum..
And on the side, I guess this would be fried fish cake? haha

There were also the commonly enjoyed sausages and bacon~
And plenty of simple finger foods were prepared as well!

There was also plenty of cheese and simple sausage & ham items.
As you can see, each item is of very high quality.
I felt that this was a breakfast worthy of Conrad Tokyo’s reputation.

Personally, I didn’t think the smoked salmon was especially tasty~..

We can’t leave out the simple fruits and yogurt either, including tangerines!!
I ate a lot of melon and kiwi, too..ㅎㅎㅎ

And that’s the plating my wife and I brought back~ lol
It’s clear that I like bread, while my wife seems to like trying a bit of everything. haha
Ah... if I just hadn’t had a cold...... I would have been able to eat better if I went again......

From here on are the ordered menu items!!
French toast muffin
This came with ganache chocolate.

It had a soft, fluffy texture and was a sweet muffin.
It wasn’t anything especially outstanding.

Avocado Toast
On a piece of bread with a baguette-like texture, there is guacamole, smoked salmon, and a boiled egg on top.
It’s a combination that can’t really taste bad, but it is also true that it was a little bland. haha
Overall, it seems like the items we brought ourselves were better than the ordered dishes.
Still, the dishes that come out after ordering look great in photos..lol Be sure to order coffee too~!
I’ve shared my two-part post about the 2024 year-end Christmas season Conrad Tokyo hotel stay!
First of all, Conrad Tokyo has an excellent location.
I think it is in the best possible spot for getting around, since it is close to major travel attractions and Haneda Airport. Tokyo Station is also nearby, so it’s really convenient for taking a bus to Gotemba Outlet, Mitsui Outlet, or nearby areas!!
Although it does feel a bit older, the staff were very kind and the breakfast was good.
I did receive a bay view upgrade with Hilton Diamond status, so that was a worthwhile benefit in its own way. I also liked being able to check in at the executive lounge and occasionally order coffee there.
I think Conrad Osaka feels more modern overall and has a more immediately appealing beauty. The breakfast was also more delicious. Still, I wonder if the Tokyo premium is why the prices were similar... haha

Lastly, Tokyo in a year-end Christmas atmosphere!!!
Roppongi and Azabudai Hills Christmas were this hot. For my records :)
That’s all from Dr. Baek’s daily life!!
