The utopia of the dental world

I am confident that our Reve Dental Clinic is worth visiting.

Why? Because I carefully designed the clinic from corner to corner so that the place I had dreamed of would become reality.

Yes, that is right. I am Chief Director Baek Won-seon. There are six directors at our hospital, and I will introduce the excellent directors one by one throughout this post.

Our address is Reve Dental Clinic, 138 Dosan-daero, Gangnam-gu.

We occupy an entire floor. We are also neighbors with ID Hospital, and because this is a newly built building on Dosan-daero for the first time in a while, it stands out right at the entrance to Garosu-gil.

If you can see the EssanHub coffee shop, you found our building well. It is also called the Woori Bank building.

We hope that someday it will be called the Reve Dental Clinic building. ^^ haha

Our Reve Dental Clinic is located on Basement Level 1, which you reach by escalator (Basement Level 2 under the Building Act).

It is a stylish open space like a shopping mall.

When you come down below, you will see this large screen.

Based on this sign made of natural marble, our clinic is divided into two areas: the left side is the laminate & orthodontic treatment area, and the right side is the general treatment & implant (sedation treatment) area.

I took this quickly by myself after the staff had gone home. haha

First, I’ll show you the general treatment & implant area, which I mentioned is on the right side.

This space has a clean, white-toned interior.

This is the space you will use when receiving various treatments at our Sinsa Reve Dental Clinic, such as cavity treatment, implant treatment, denture treatment, and more!

Director Joo Seong-woo, who currently holds the prestigious title of dental doctor for the Jincheon National Team Athletes’ Village!

As a prosthodontics specialist, he is responsible for many treatments at our hospital.

He is also the colleague dentist I trust and rely on the most.

If you look closely, you can see a collection by a gadget-loving chief director with no shortage of equipment, from Primescan to the TRIOS 5 intraoral scanner.

The left one is Primescan, and the right one is TRIOS 5. They are currently considered the two giants of the intraoral scanner world.

We also naturally have iTero as well. Since I’m an equipment enthusiast, I spare no investment when it comes to devices ^^... haha

This is the surgical center of Reve Dental Clinic in Nonhyeon-dong!

A notable feature is that oxygen gas is connected in each operating room. It is a space where sedation treatment (= relaxing treatment) is possible.

Having a recovery room as well is a great advantage.

In addition, sedation treatment is also available under the supervision of a board-certified anesthesiologist.

Sterilizers and disinfecting machines are found in every dental clinic,

but plasma sterilizers are not common.

It is a sterilizer that helps us quickly prepare for implant surgery. Thanks to this, we are fully prepared to perform surgery as soon as you arrive.

How did we come to know each other.....? Actually, he is a senior classmate from my time at Yonsei University College of Dentistry, haha.

After much effort, we invited Director Go Seok-ho, a master of laminates, to serve as the head of our aesthetic prosthetics center.

The reason our Sinsa Reve Dental Clinic can grow into one of Gangnam’s leading orthodontic clinics.

It’s thanks to the two board-certified orthodontists from Yonsei University College of Dentistry and Severance Hospital’s Department of Orthodontics.

The two of them are keeping our Reve Dental orthodontics department open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday!

An orthodontic clinic where you can get Clippy C, Clarity Ultra, and Invisalign treatment even on Sundays. It has finally arrived at Sinsa Station.

We actually named our laminate room the VIP Room, and its defining feature is that it is a private space.

I called it a monster camera... but the huge and expensive Nikon DSLR helps a lot in creating precise, beautiful laminates.

This is something I think I’ll be together with for the next 10 years.

These are the dental technicians who will handle everything from inlays used for cavity treatment to crowns and even one-day laminates.

At Reve Dental Clinic, we also call them ceramists. That’s because they are so skilled at handling ceramics. Laminate material is ceramic!

Our hospital’s lab room is... well, I actually snapped this secretly. Sorry..

In fact, lab rooms are not something just anyone gets to see......this is a lab room we carefully and diligently created.

Among the machines, we brought in only expensive, high-quality ones that can truly be called the best.

We made a huge investment for the best laminates and prosthetics...^^...I just couldn’t stand sparing money on equipment.

These friends make laminates, inlays, and more... they always work hard.

If you look to the right, doesn’t it maybe remind you of the old days of poster color?

Each and every one of these are shade materials used to color laminates. The more conservative the laminate, the more carefully the color has to be matched.

We had to make three separate requests to bring them in, since both of them are officially recognized as the best technicians.

If this kind of lab works with us, we can even provide a temporary denture on the same day a tooth is extracted,

and if you make an appointment, you can have about 6 to 8 laminates (called ReveNate White at our clinic!) completed the same day and go home with them.

Now that we have put up such a big sign, I feel a bit of pressure on my shoulders.

Oh, and Reve Dental Clinic offers valet parking. Another big advantage is that because we have many parking staff on site, you can find your car again in just 1–2 minutes. Parking fees are covered by the hospital, but the valet fee of 5,000 won is paid by the patient.

Over the past five years running a dental clinic in Seongdong-gu, I had many regrets about the limits and insufficient facilities that were unavoidable for a small neighborhood clinic, and I feel like I resolved all of that at this new clinic. I also once again felt how much dental technology and facilities have advanced over the past five years.
